New Halloween Scavenger Hunt game

Hey gang..

So one of the support admins made a fun little scavenger hunt game. It's coded for Halloween at the moment but it can be adapted for other holidays.

As you browse the forum, watch for "floating" pieces of candy. Tap or click on them to collect.

After you've collected 5 pieces (if I recall correctly), a small pumpkin will appear in your PBN bar. That's the tiny little bar in your lower right hand corner that enables you to easily switch forums, get to your global account settings, etc. (If you don't see one, look for a little arrow and click it. It may just be hidden.) If that pumpkin is lit up, there is candy to collect on that page.

Unfortunately, you have to be on a PC, or using the desktop version of a mobile browser to play - just like the zombie game.

There are no prizes. It's just for fun. There may be a few bugs still, too. Try to enjoy it anyway.

I clicked on a candy and got a text box about not being allowed access or something instead of the count of candies.  It did add towards my total but maybe a bug or something? 

And I just clicked on another one and it was the normal text.  Odd.

Yes. That's one of the bugs they're trying to figure out. For now, that's the "trick" part of trick or treat I guess.

Well that's a good way to spin it into a positive.  Maybe they can edit the text to reflect that.  LOL.

No, but I do watch the pumpkin at the bottom and stay to find the candy if it says it's there. I only got one out of the last one I picked up. Just keep looking, some have been hard to spot, way up or down the page. Or on someone's avatar where it almost blended in.

It activated my pumpkin, but I don't see it. Maybe cause I have Win 7?

Is you little menu on the bottom right of the screen open? I have the pumpkin(or a blank stop sign looking thing when there's nothing on the page), 2 people, and some other thing. Or do you need to click on the sideways arrow to open it? I think I'm also on Windows 7 but I could be wrong, it's not my computer

Your OS doesn't matter. But sometimes they do blend in very well.

Yes, 20 seems to be the point multiples appear. Took me awhile to find the small side arrow bottom left.

Well, I got a trick part. It gave me 5 candies with an error code, got to 100, and then when I left the page and clicked on a +3, I went down to 97.
