To set a good example for the kiddies, I put away the Bonbon 5000 and donated the proceeds to charity. That's right, my dear accusers: my virtual bon bons go to charity. Seeing as how YMAM is my safe space and I'm feeling triggered by all your hostility, I expect doleful apologies from everyone who microaggressed, excepting posters who accepted my identity as a candy vacuumer. My wounds are healing, and with time I hope to be able to forgive each and every one of you. Pfft yeah right.

I'm reporting you to the YMAM Office of Poster Safety, Diversity, Equality, and Emotional Welfare. Also, the inequality in our respective candy counts is triggering me. It's obscene that you should have more than fifty times as many candies as I do. You haven't been paying your fair share. Starting tomorrow, every poster with more than 100 candies will be required to pay 5% of their total candies each day into a YMAM community candy fund. The proceeds will supplement posters with low candy income.

At least I don't have a smoking turd as my avatar. If you're creating turds that look like that, see your doctor immediately! It's a semi-dehydrated elephant turd. "Natural wellness" retailers douse them in kerosene and sell them to homeopaths at $75 a pop. They're marketed under the names "flaming heart", "rock of consciousness", "smudge stick", "moon's tear", and "jewel of the elephant". According to legend, the smoke is the healing spirit of the elephant escaping from its corporeal sanctum. Inhaling the fumes while lying perfectly still in a pool of cold water cures all kinds of ailments. Technology has come a long way.

I'm the duffus again ..... still haven't found a pumpkin in the lower right corner of my screen ..... Look at the very bottom right of your screen. Find and left-click on it. It will open a box that should show you the pumpkin (along with a couple of other images).

I wasn't very far off, was I? They're dried bundles of crap (not literal crap, but "crap" as in detritus one finds lying around) people burn for rituals and shamanism. Elephant dung would smoke pretty good. You should write the elephant dung blogger and let her know we've discovered a new use for an old classic. I'll split the finder's fee with you 50/50.

My wounds are healing, and with time I hope to be able to forgive each and every one of you. ?? You gave the imaginary candy to charity? I'm sure the kids will really appreciate that. It's a virtual charity. The kids were virtually ecstatic. You're not alone in wondering why so many people care about an integer that represents the number of times they've clicked on the world's ugliest candy graphic, but when in Rome... Also, look at it this way: there are countless games where people invest real money to play and where the ultimate goal is to maximize some integer--score, level, kills, gold, number of cows, number of dragons slain, etc. The number is proof of effort, dedication, skill, etc. and therefore constitutes an accomplishment, even if it has no tangible value. We might extend this paradigm to all sports and games. There's no tangible value to scoring high on Pac-Man, winning the neighbourhood soccer tourney, or besting a friend at chess. Your winnings are a single bit: a '1' if you win, and a '0' if you don't. Yet all warm-blooded human beings strive to win that bit. It's in our nature. So if YMAM has a blast hunting down candy graphics and striving to be the winningest virtual candy hoarders they can be, who are we to tell them they're crazy? Who are we to tell them their candy count isn't as much a reflection of skill as it is a testament to the countless hours their sad, empty lives afford for incrementing integers?

Are there multipliers or a way to get higher points? Molly has over 1000 and the game just started. I've been running around and get 1 here or there. All I see is snow flakes. I have 14. Maybe something happens at 20?

like last time, you'll get more as you continue to collect them. 1000 is a ton since last night, though. wow!

At 20 I started getting between 1 and 5. Still no way to get 1000.

after 20 you will get between 1 and 6. and you just keep collecting until you get to those higher numbers. no multiplier higher than six. so you can tell that the ones who have such high numbers are here way too much lol.
