Only up 0.2 # this week from last week, so not as bad as I thought it would be. 155.6, 24.7, 31.0 & 48.7 on Wednesday. Today, I'm exactly at where I was on the 27th, so back on track I guess? Guess I was PMS-ing this last weekend. Last month, I didn't seem to have any issues, but the month before I did. Still exercising every day, but think I will take today off, or just do some yoga later. Lot's of housework to catch up on. I'm not sure I could be accomplishing any of this if I were working on top of everything else I have to take care of. Kudos to people who work all the time and still manage to keep up with healthy meals and exercise regularly!

I'm wondering if my bump up 1 pound this morning was real. Or if I'm just deluding myself. I normally weigh in with a light summer dress but it was really cold this morning so I had on jeans and my tennis shoes. I did not take off my shoes because I figured that maybe .4 but I don't know how to figure out for everything else. I know I should not be doing this for the number on the scale, and I am not feeling the 30 minute fast walk. So I guess I'm making progress?

I can gain 2lb just from eating something more salty than usual. You have to look at a trend longer than day to day. Keeping track daily is good if it helps you to not slip up but I don't think you can believe a gain or loss unless it has stuck around for a few days.

I weigh daily because I do need that to keep on track.

First one today with climbs. Felt it! So I'm sticking at least one to two climbs in next week but keeping the time the same. Still at 30 minutes as fast as possible. Hopefully I'll be down Friday (weigh in day). I want to be down to 155 (24.28 BMI) & up to 10 miles a day or 5 miles including up / down Mt Diablo by the trip

Missed step goal by a little over 5000. Need major improvement in eating habits. Supposed to be another warm week.
Going to keep my goal at 60000.

I'm sure I'm way off my goal last week. I ate something I was allergic to Saturday night and spent Sunday wanting to die.

Yeah my food allergies have gotten worse and it sucks. At least I was able to hold stuff down finally after getting some Dramamine. Trying to chug water today, I'm sure that I got dehydrated. It's a new week so back to it.

Started weights tonight. OMG it is so sad how weak my arms, shoulders and back are! These are my problem areas... basically the muscles are always crazy tight and I am always hurty. Giving the weights a go, since my chiropractor said it was okay. 3lbs. Ha!
My fit bit is crapping out on me. I knew it was underestimating my steps... but i was out and about sunday with friends. Both hit 10k steps doing the exact same walking I was doing... while I was still at 8k. Plus, I had taken the dog on a walk that morning. Neither of them had done any extra walking prior to us leaving my house. The other day, I got home from work and had less than 5000 steps. I have never had that low of a step count on a work day. So, I am taking the step count with a grain of salt.

Stiff & sore. Hills are HARD but sticking with it. I'll decide between Provence / Luberon & Pyrenees by the end of month. (Oct 16-23rd)

Well, working out still not happening - some sort of virus at our house this week. Headache, body ache, fever. Everyone but the baby is sick (we think she had it last week.) IT'S SO FUN GUYS. Lots and lots of laying still on the couch.
That said, I haven't been particularly motivated to eat anything either. So that's... good? I guess?
Down another pound today. I've officially lost 30 lbs!!!

Being sick is no fun.
I need my allergy Dr appointment to get here. I keep waking up at night unable to breathe for all the crap draining into my throat. I've been trying very hard to get more sleep but when you are awake from 2-4am it stinks.

Haven't been logging my food for close to a month and haven't been consistently exercising the way I should have. Finally hopped on the scale and it wasn't as bad as I was anticipating. Up a couple of pounds, but that's a normal fluctuation for me. Met my step goals the last couple of days and have been running the last couple of days too. Hasn't hurt as much as I thought it would after being lazy for so long, so I think I'm back on track with my physical activity at least.

So I thought zumba was at 6:30 and it was really at 5:30. Does it make me a complete failure if I turned back around and went home when I figured it out.

Still benched. Felt about 75% today but exhausted from dealing with a sick and whiny kid all day. Was taking her to dr at lunch and stopped for fries and a milkshake to try to get her to eat something and just had a few fries and a couple sips of Shake. Was SO CRANKY by the end of the day, took me a while to realize, duh, I pretty much skipped lunch.
Need to start working out earlier in the day because if I work out at night I'm up for hours. Right now our morning routine doesn't permit it, wondering if I can drop the girls at school earlier and workout before work?

I'm behind on my updates, but I have a quick question. I recently bought some colored sports bras. Can I just wear them in public, or do I need to cover up with a shirt? I started just wearing the bra at home, 'cause I sweat, but feels weird to.

I'm not sure if it was the weights I did last week, if i slept weird, or if the extra hours I put in at work was the culprit, but OMG my neck, shoulders, arms and across my color bones have been so tight and sore. these have been problem areas for some time, but I was in so much pain yesterday. I had a talk with myself that i needed to just power through and do at minimum 20 minutes of yoga. I got to 28 minutes and got a cramp in my leg when I went into a certain position. Tried 3 times and called it. I know I am a little dehydrated, so I assume that's where the cramps are coming from. Anyway- Yoga done. My boss leaves for vacation (2.5 weeks!) this Wednesday so for the next 3 weeks it is going to be BUSY for me. I am setting a reminder up to go in to our privacy room and do some yoga stretches at least once a day (goal of twice) and I must leave the office at lunch for at least 10 minutes to walk... unless it is raining. minimum of 20 minutes of yoga 3x this week. No step goal, because my fitbit is not counting correctly. Dinners are planned for the week... and Lunches are ready to go. Breakfast still needs work since I fight with getting protein in (no dairy, no eggs UGH) 47 days out from vacation with a goal of approx. 8- 10 lbs to drop.

For my back when I get knots I also use a lacrosse ball to put pressure on the knots till they release. It's about the size of a tennis ball but HARD rubber. Bonus: it's the only ball my dogs have never been able to destroy!

One session with the foam roller and I hardly have any twinges the next day. It hurts like a sonofabitch when I'm using it and I want to set it on fire, but it's well worth a few minutes of discomfort to get almost total relief the next day.

Same idea, hard rubber, they are in a little mesh bag together and I can put them between me and the wall and lean against them and get good pressure. But after a couple minutes I want to cry and stop. I need to pull out my foam roller too! I am going to do that now. Sent from my SM-N920T using proboards
