Yeah I would be very upset to already be doing all the right things and have no control. Well I hope whatever you decide to do helps.
Too bad you can't be like my DH and eat double of my "maintain my weight" diet and lose 25lbs. Men.

Oh no, there will be no blood spilled in here today. There's been enough blood spill on the Kid's thread to last at least a week.

falling behind on my weekly accountability checkups, so here goes:1/7/16 (months before starting) 169 #, 37 " waist (at belly button)4/16/16 (after first week/3x exercising) 172.4#, 27.4 BMI, 36.4% body fat, 44.9% body water4/21/16 171#, 27.2 BMI, 36.2% body fat, 45.0 % body water, 36.5" waist, 38" at belly button4/28/16 170.8#, 27.1 BMI, 36.0 % body fat, 45.2% body water5/4/16 170.8#, 27.1 BMI, 35.9% body fat, 45.2% body water5/11/16 170.2#, 27.0 BMI, 35.7% body fat, 45.4% body water5/18/16 169.8#, 27.0 BMI, 35.6% body fat, 45.3% body water, 34" waist (maybe??), 37.5" at belly button5/25/16 167.6#, 26.6 BMI, 34.9% body fat, 45.8% body water6/1/16 166.6#, 26.5 BMI, 34.7% body fat, 46.0# body water6/8/16 165.8#, 26.3 BMI, 34.1% body fat, 46.4% body water6/15/16 164.6#, 26.1 BMI, 33.8% body fat, 46.6% body water6/22/16 163.8#, 26.0 BMI, 33.8% body fat, 46.6% body water6/29/19 163.2#, 25.9 BMI, 33.4% body fat, 46.9% body water7/6/16 159.4#, 25.3 BMI, 32.0% body fat, 48.0% H2O 7/13/16 158.8#, 25.2 BMI, 32.0 % body fat, 48.0% h2o 7/20/16 158.2#, 25.1 BMI, 31.6% body fat, 48.2% h2o, 33" waist, 36" at the belly button Still eeking out a little progress, but not happy that it's slowed down so much. I've been on a net 1200 calorie diet, which isn't too bad when I exercise and make sure there's a good dose of protein and lean veggies in there. It really sucks if I have to have a sandwich for lunch and didn't exercise. This has been a shitty week for exercising too. I've missed 3 days in a row now. It's too hard squeezing it in when I have other things to do, as I sweat like crazy, so then I need a shower afterward, then hair & makeup... I'll have to become a morning person and get up early to exercise if I get a job. Hmm, maybe I should do that anyway. Problem is, the kids interrupting/interfering. Right now, I exercise while my youngest takes a nap, and sometimes the oldest still gets in the way until I have to yell at him because I'm scared of accidentally hurting him. MY kids like to get up way before I do. Damn you, Soda Crush and your fishing tournaments that keep me up late! Intermediate goal: 154 #, 24.9 BMI, 34.0% body fat, 47% body water, 34" waist BIG goal: 127#, 20 BMI, 30 % body fat, 50% body water, 26" waist

Weekly Checkin
Hit my step goal. Did not do well on eating. This weeks goal will 60000 steps and get back to drinking water. It is going to be a stressful week at work.

Well, I'm a hot mess over here still. Bloated like crazy, plus we over-salted our batch-cooked meal for the week, so the extra pounds on the scale are going nowhere until I stop eating this dish. Which, we have so much of it, will be like thursday.
Had a very active weekend with kids plus swam on saturday. We went to the pool both Sat and Sunday afternoon. DH is traveling this week, so won't make it to the gym until Thurs probs. Going to try to do some workouts in the basement.
Plus my calf strain is still strained. This is taking forever to heal, so annoying!!! At least my ab and shoulder seem to be healing...
That's all I got for this week!

Love what Trying again .... who was it who said "don't try ... do?" Yeah well they never met California summers. Plan is to be mindful of what goes in my mouth & walk at least a mile each day (increasing 1/2 mile per week) / weights 3× week+

Down on the scale again! Now, I am only 8 pounds up from my December weight. I am getting some new shoes today . I haven't been able to get in the steps that I'd like because the ASICS I bought a few months back were cheap and give me blisters when I walk like 2 miles at once. I did 2.5 miles on Sunday and hobbled home. I have two enormous blisters on my toes. I am going to hit Fleet Feet today for some New Balance shoes and hopefully I can be getting those steps back in!

I'd been busy, then the hot water heater went out. I actually reached the Normal weight level BMI on Friday, but my happiness was subdued by car and hot water heater breaking. Basically, this fitness/weight-loss is the only thing going right for me lately. All right, I should be happier about it, but I need another kind of win for a change. Well I have some news........and it's good news. My weight is still the same about 118.6 lbs, so maybe lost 5 lbs. BUT my bone density has increased so much in both my hips and lower back, my docs were amazed. AND the fatty deposits in my liver are decreasing at a great rate. I said well I'm eating right and doing the plank exercise, but I'm surprised that my weight has dropped only about 5 lbs. Doctor thinks I'm building muscle.

Weekly Check-In
Missed step goal by a little over 6000. Going to keep this week's goal at 60000. The month of July was poor overall. Missed July step goal by a lot. I am still on pace to reach yearly goal of 3.5 million steps.
Did not do as well on eating a I had hoped. I am sure I will be receiving a lecture from my doctor this week.

My July got a little off track. This past week was a bit better. I actually met my step goal a couple days. I did grocery shopping yesterday and have a rough meal plan in mind.

Unclear.
Well, two weeks of intense migraines. I haven't worked out at all. I guess the good news is that the migraine nausea has meant I've skipped at least one meal a day, and now I'm down another 3 lbs. Silver lining, I guess? I see a neurologist next week, and my doctor is recommending I cease breastfeeding immediately so that I can be put on preventative meds. So that's coming to a close.
Trying to get back to working out this week, however it's all dependent on my head. I go to a neurologist next week. The other upside of the migraines was forced rest for my various injuries. This means that the calf strain is the only thing I currently have injured, so I can work out again without hurting myself further! (Maybe, let's be honest.)
August update: 207 lbs, 32.4 BMI
September Goal: 200 lbs, 31.3 BMI

Successfully made it through a day without a migraine and lifted weights tonight! Tried to take it easy given my unwilling two weeks off. We will see how I feel in the morning.

Hope you get some answers to the migraines. I have discovered that most of mine are hormone related. So for like 10 days out of the month I am on high alert and take meds with me everywhere. The auras always strike. I work up with one at 5 this morning. Sent from my SM-N920T using proboards

The less I breastfeed the more I get them. Hoping by quitting breastfeeding everything will even out sooner rather than later. Sucks in the meantime though.

I'm sorry you're suffer with migraines. ... mine would put me down for the balance of the day Walking: plan was to do 1 mile a day last week then 1.5 miles this. It's now taking me about 15 minutes and feels more like a stroll. So I think I'll just walk as fast as I can for 30 minutes this week and see how far I get. My plan is to do this in 3 months so I have to get fit: Provence Walking Tour In Van Gogh's Footsteps | Hiking France Or Rambling-in-the-Luberon

Not looking good for my weigh-on day tomorrow. I got really weak-feeling over the weekend, and grumpy, so I upped the calories. Guess what? Not only am I capable of losing 1.5 # overnight, I'm capable of gaining that much as well. Going back to what was working--paleo-ish eating and exercising most days. I've gotta buy more lean meats to eat--steak, fish & chicken, and bake some more potatoes. Oh, and it's taco Tuesday. Tacos are surprisingly low on calories--even with refried beans and sour cream.

I'm working my arms as much as I can this week. I will most likely only be able to work my legs after Friday. I get a spindle cell lipoma cut off my left shoulder Friday. I'm assuming they won't let me lift weights until I get my stitches removed.

V cool ombud! Well, headache free week continues! I also noticed I've been having some eye strain and went to the optometrist and it's official - I'm old and I wear glasses now. All the time. On my face. It's an adjustment for sure. But at the end of the day I could see my phone, so as far as I'm concerned they are working!!! Modern(ish) medicine y'all, it's amazing!!! Worked out 3 times this week as part of my no headache, no excuses plan. Since I can't work out during the times of the month I have migraines, I'm hitting it hard on the times I don't to try and even it out. Monday was chest and arms, Tuesday swimming, Weds rest and Thurs legs and abs and a little bit of back. This afternoon of the weather cooperates I'll steal my older DD from daycare and hit the pool for some fun swim-times. I also adjusted my calorie intake to lose 2 lbs a week vs. 1.5. A lot harder for sure, and why I have to make sure to get lots of exercise so I can eat more calories!

Back to walking last night. I've given up the delusion that I'm just out of shape and my asthma is fine. Booked an appointment with my allergy/asthma doctor. I feel the headaches slipping back in but I get Botox again next week. Plan is to keep walking, keep eating better most of the time and start doing stretches because my hip flexors are most unhappy.
