Z - if you are talking about The Smartest Guys in the Room, it's EXCELLENT! Not boring for a second. You definitely come away from it shaking your head...and it's way too scary how easily the same thing can happen again and again.

OH! LOL Peach you're right! I just jumped over to Netflix to tell you the title and it's Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room! ;D
It's now number 11 on the list - BUT I can watch instantly as well which I may do over the holiday weekend!

Too funny! Co-Workers agree and family members agree I had NO CHOICE and had to see Fast 5 in theaters! because of my car of course. even though before the movie was released I'm looking at the commercials and I'm like this movie looks so dam stupid! But I have to go see it! LOL I went to see it and well... my brother (another who has to see it) said it best it's good for an action movie but disappointing to be a part of the Fast and Furious series.

"127 Hours" was good! I like "Buried" with Ryan Reynolds...different.

I like horror flicks like "Wrong Turn," "Hostel." Any new ones out to recommend? Not the fake ones like "The Hills Have Eyes," ones that are more realistic. Thanks.

You definitely come away from it shaking your head...and it's way too scary how easily the same thing can happen again and again. Not bad - not bad at all I must say. I was disappointed at first while watching it - but it did (finally) answer my questions; what did Enron do? sell? why did they go bankrupt? but I would like to know how did Enron start? like out of a basement and grew or a group started it as something else? / who went to jail / does the building still stand? so (for me) they could have cut out ALL the personal stuff about the owner of Enron / cut out the GW Bush stuff / then they went a bit off track talking about Arnold S winning as Governor But I got most of it? rather I have a better understanding of what happened AND I NOW see the references to Enron in other TV series and movies! LOL

(Great Movie) what about the Saw series? Texas Chainsaw Series? Paranormal Activity? Orphan? Friday the 13th / Jason Series? Nightmare on Elm Street series?

HAD A thought! I would like to know the out-come from the Horror movies when the survivors get back home?
you know when the movie starts out with 5 to 8 or 11 people. all of them friends (usually) then the killing starts and by the end of the movie there is 1 or maybe 2 people that survive. so what do they tell the police?

I wanted to recommend a funny Bollywood movie I borrowed from the library, Dostana. Made in 2008 I think and worth watching. Two guys pretend to be gay in order to rent rooms in a very nice apartment in Miami. The images of their imagined love story are priceless.

I checked out an older French movie-Gerard Depardieu looked trim in it so I figured it was old-it also had a gay theme. It was funny-a factory that makes condoms was laying off an office worker. He was advised by an old gay psychologist to pretend to be gay. Employer was afraid to lay him off. The lighting and pretty women reminded me of films from the 60's.

Recent horror movies I liked not mentioned- Wolf Creek, Haute Tension (french), remake of The Crazies, Pandorum, remake of Halloween, A Perfect Getaway (borderline horror), Touristas, Splice, Daybreakers
Masters of Horror has some really good/gross stories as well- Family, Pro-Life, The Screwfly Solution, Right to Die, Jennifer

I'm a classical mythology nut, so I didn't like Clash of the Titans. I don't know why Hollywood thinks they can take a centuries-old story and make it better.

Hi Sparkle! My daughter is reading that book, and I've heard people who also loved it. I will be seeing it! A good movie I saw not long ago was The King's Speech. I didn't think I'd care for it but it was very good - great acting!

Candidate for worst movie of all time, at least in the last year - Drive angry with Nicholas Cage. Awful.

127 Hours was good. Tough concept to make an interesting movie because so much of the screen time was just James Franco, but he did an excellent job.

girlfriend pre-ordered Twilight Breaking Dawn movie tickets. She said she has to be among the first to see the movie before her co-workers. LOL - because there is this one woman that doesn't believe in 'spoil alert' so I'll ...we'll be seeing the midnight showing and most likely will be going once more later on. I think she already read the books? <<Zaire turns around to check bookcase and yea she has the full saga>>
