At this point, if you own a computer the likelihood of getting hacked in one way or another is REALLY high.  I suspect that there are very few on this board that haven't been hacked (I got hacked in the BCBS mess), either financially or personal info.

Im not saying it is right, but the assumption of anonymity online is really a fallacy.  Regardless of care, if someone has enough incentive, they can find anything.

Again, to think that something like this is not going to be hacked is naive.  That fact that it is supposedly soooo discreet makes it an even bigger target.

If it is illegal in many countries, then I'd think one might not partake.  It is their choice to both live in this country, and sign up.  And to post that they've been outed on Reddit is even more stupid.

Then shouldn't you be upset with the hackers?  You know the ones who put all the "private" info out there?  Instead of lecturing others for commenting on what happened? 

And I take anything from reddit with a MASSIVE dose of skepticism. 

Plus this thread is specifically about Josh Duggar, I think there's another one about the AM hack in more general terms.  

good old Joshie set himself up as judge & jury to condemn & lecture others.  All while diddling and dipping his dipstick in someone other than his wifey.  He broke HIS religious rules while professing just how wonderful of a father & husband he was BECAUSE he was religious.  He deserves all the backlash he gets IMO.  The gays he campaigned openly and aggressively against didn't hurt his marriage, he did.

Are you suggesting that he deserves to be executed or does not deserve sympathy? Lots of people do stupid things when it comes to sex.  His stupid thing did not hurt anyone except by inadvertantly putting himself in danger.  I think people who take glee in the failings of others are kind of sad. 

I think he got support through reddit and is in touch with a LGTB group that is offering immigration help.

Who says he'd get executed?  Again, why would you post about this on a very public forum if you were afraid of getting caught?  It just doesn't make sense.  It would make waaaay more sense to keep something like this to private communications (that is, NOT on Reddit), if it is true.

And as others have posted, this isn't about some guy in Saudi, but a very vocal man who has espoused a certain lifestyle, and is a hypocrite to the nth degree.  He and his family have spent a lifetime promoting something that Josh doesn't follow.....AND they got a lot of money for it too.

I don't know that I believe the specifics, but I do believe some people will get hurt beyond what is appropriate by the disclosures.  I think the hackers did something mean and not something moral.  There is fun gossip and mean gossip.
