I am really sorry for your loss.
I only ever had one cat, which was a stray that came to our back door one night when we were eating fish. We put the leftovers out and she came back the next night. We have no idea how old she was, but she hung around for a good 15 years. We would let her in the house for a few hours and then she would go to the back door and we would let her back out, so we never had a litter box or anything.
I would love another cat like that, but how many cats show up at your door already house trained? We don't actually get any stray cats at all where we live; we have bunnies everywhere instead. We found out that down the road are two retired ladies that are feeding every stray in the neighborhood, so none of them make it this far.

My Fiona (Sweet Fee) has a crazy sweet tooth. Last week I lost three peaches and a cheesecake bar. I'm super careful about hiding chocolates, but for some reason I always forget that nothing is safe if left on the counters. Even if it is covered or wrapped in plastic, she will find a way. Bonny-sorry for your loss. cktc-MSN Trending Videos today had a short video on 'Cats Who Think It’s Funny to Scare You'. Around second #13 is the big version of your cat wiggle avatar.
