No, I don't think that at all. But I think it helps. Especially for those who might be thinking about giving up. Maybe the prayers help change their mind.

That's funny because if I were a surgeon, I'd be praying to GOD for help in these cases. No way should DH have survived this infection. He even "arrested" something I'm sure we weren't supposed to know but the nurse let it slip. But people coast to coast and border to border of various religions were praying their prayers and I know that helped right along with the miracles of modern medicine. So people that don't make it just don't have enough people praying for them? People who don't have a faith in God or believe in prayer will never understand those who do. Hopefully one day, all our questions will be answered............ or you're just dead and it no longer matters.

So people that don't make it just don't have enough people praying for them? People who don't have a faith in God or believe in prayer will never understand those who do. Hopefully one day, all our questions will be answered............ or you're just dead and it no longer matters. Even when I was a practicing Catholic, prayer just never made any sense to me beyond a meditative thing.
