Citi Launches Global API Developer Hub to Enable Open Banking Business Wire Business WireNovember 10, 2016Comment NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Today, Citi announced the launch of a new global API Developer Hub (developer.citi.com) to rapidly connect with developers and enable them to build innovative client solutions faster than ever before. The global developer platform is one of the most comprehensive to date in the financial services industry. The release of Citi APIs marks the evolution of Citi’s technology to open architecture, which will facilitate collaboration and partnerships with FinTech companies and consumer brands across the globe to benefit customers. Through the global API Developer Hub, Citi will grant developers access to APIs across eight usage categories, including account management, peer to peer payments, money transfer to institutions, Citi rewards, investment purchases and account authorization. Additional categories will be added over time. I know this is a bit off subject: Federal reserves is pushing for cashless! All year we have been tracking the strength in the weakness on this thread. The EU continues to fracture(Italian vote) and China has implemented capital controls not seen in 20 years because they are hemorrhaging $$$$$ from everywhere... but boy have bonds gotten cheap over the last while here. Kash is king!

Watch out for 2013? LOL... When the world was going to "end" in 2012 and we were all having fun poking the bear, I kept saying, "watch out for 2013 though." Watch out meant that the trends that appeared in 2013 would lead to a stall in 2014.. All you have to do is look at the chart of earnings to see that is exactly what happened. Since we know the run up in earnings from a low in 2009 was slow and steady US growth mixed with BRICS, and we know the US is still growing slow and steady, we know that as of 2013 major issues surfaced in the BRICS. Those issues have built over the last two years, and now they are front and center. Now, had Putin not pulled his BS maybe by the end of next year and into 2018 we could be talking about a world wide recovery moving onto the next phase of our economic evolution. However, Putin did pull his BS and as life always is, we will have to get through a setback first.

Jan 23, 2012 at 6:04pm QuoteEditlikePost Options Post by bimetalaupt on Jan 23, 2012 at 6:04pm his is from the old Board: Your Balanced Portfolio... Effect of Bonds on your Sharpe index..Max Return with lest risk.. I got a cold call the other day from from a broker that was sure I needed to AA.. A very cyclical stock to say the least. I told him I had a limited income and lived on my dividends and interest. I could not risk capital.. That took any stock off the table with a beta of 2.6. He keep going on and on about how I would make 40%.. Dispute the fact that AA has gone from 9.5 to 17 or 61% F Retrenchment. Next I told him I was overweight stock and needed to add Bonds to my Portfolio.. He told me I was a fool with bonds.. He never bought bonds. Told him again I am retired.. now that should alone tell him this was not a stock for me. He thought the 30 Year T-Bonds was a bad investment. Why would he care that he is now offering bad advice.. All He wanted was that cold call to make him money no mater what it cost me. I think at this point he was not keeping the " Goodness of fit " rule for brokers.. I told him he was asking me to lower my income. So What is your return and your Sharpe index.. now i get the dial tone.. Buy the way .. Bonds have produce better returns for the last 10 years with less risk. Virgil asked for the name of the Post so we can move it .. Any thought on risk and the total system.. Let us know.. Esp when it come to action.. "The only winning system is to do nothing.. " Tron Just a thought, Bi Metal Au Pt

For the game.. Record..
the 50/50 re-balancer system is also a pro-beta trading system... Check out the Standard Devastation for Bonds!!! You can use 0.5 to 3 beta.. it is all about risk and bond can be as high risk as you want!!! gold ETF are all about high risk!! very high Risk
more on the system later after we get a little feedback..This can be fun.. It is also about risk and
Market action...

The good professor hit it on the head; the FED bailed out AIG because of insurance... It's awesome to go back to some of these older conversations due to evolution... So now we have to ask, is the Sharpe ratio an accurate way of assessing risk in today's world?? For some reason I can't get the story of wine bottles and bonds out of my mind.

We are changing by adding high beta stocks vs 30 year T bonds in the old fashion 50/50 system. My A++ account is more about study of Efficient Frontier Study with "Big Data" that is in fact also 100% "House Money". The result of this study has been reported here and on Super Fed Watch for over 8 years. KA$H IS KING!

Bitcoin may have appreciated 300% in the last 12 months, but Morgan Stanley still isn't convinced the cryptocurrency will be a viable currency in the long run.
In new research published this week, analysts at the bank say that bitcoin (and its counterparts like ethereum) are still more like investment vehicles than fiat currency that you could spend on goods and services. In addition, it said there are few reasons to use bitcoin instead of a debit or credit card, as it represents a "marginally more inconvenient way to pay."
Here's Morgan Stanley:
Most regulators and investors view cryptocurrencies more as assets than actual currencies. Their values are too volatile and too hard to actually use for payment for most to consider them currencies. Our conversations with some merchants indicate that, while cryptocurrencies might actually be attractive for them to operate their businesses, they find that the cryptocurrencies are far too volatile to be used. Is it justme or is this looking like the Tulip price clime ? Better to sell then buy and look who owns the TULIP market!

Agreed about the crypto-currency; however, Ethereum isn't ether. Ethereum is all about using big data to operate more Efficiently on the Frontier AKA.. making U$D. Like you said; node #1: all about the way of the future money making machine. USD is King!!
