Snapdragon: That is a good idea but I am trying my hardest to not pay lots of Transfer fees. One is a Home Depot credit card that will be paying off the carpet we put in the house when we moved from NC to Wisconsin. The other is Bank of America that I used a 0% transfer for a high interest credit card. I might get the Home Depot paid off but possibly only if I add some money to the payment from the Bank of America payment. I will have to try my hardest to pay off Home Depot and then only have a smaller amount to transfer from the later of the 2 and pay a smaller transfer fee. Or take some money from savings, which I hate because it never seems to go back into savings, there is always something else.

Well, it turns out my 2.25% refi is that only if I pay points. However, I may be able to get 2.75% for no points. I'm waiting for the final paperwork from my loan officer. I also decided the paper work is just easier to roll all the closing costs into the financing. I'll use the money I've already saved for something else.

With losing Buster on Friday and the boyfriend ending things today, I REALLY want to just buy a shit-ton of stuff. That'll make it all better, right? I'm not a drinker but I'll just spend myself into oblivion. I won't but I really want to buy things to make myself feel better but I know it won't because it'll just be more debt. I'm just catching up. So so sorry to hear this. hope things have gotten a little easier since this post.

I struggled with making my last payment because my nephew passed away that morning. I made the decision to pay off my truck because they may need to wait for a little bit for his funeral so I'll have time to help them more.
Thank you all for your support. I only have my mortgage to pay. I came to this group back in 2008 when we used a different website. I am so thankful for the private and public conversations that help me keep going. I appreciate you all.

MuffyintheRed#2 3/23/2021 $170,529.00 (06/22/2020 $175.394.16)
Amount paid off- $936.00
CU Savings - $25,637.64
This month has been pretty good but we have had some unusual things like having to prepay for our pellet stove cleaning that happens in August and paying for 2 tons of pellets for next winter. And we are finally going on vacation the middle of April to visit friends in North Carolina. We will use our stimulus money toward that.
I am making large payments on our Lowe's card to pay it off before the 0% ends and then looking for a new BT for the Bank of America before October. Only making smaller payments of the BoA and moving that money to the Lowe's card so I can get that paid off by August.
Hoping to have just my mortgage payment by the end of the year or definitely by the middle of next year.
Both my husband and I have gotten both of our COVID shots, that is why we decided to go on vacation. Take care all.

Dang it. Mr. Murphy has come for a visit. May his stay be short. I call him a he because he threw a monkey wrench in my plan. Women are nicer. I'm trying to find some humor because my heart hurts. My fire sprinkler system in my house malfunctioned and leaked water in my kid's room. This sucks because I only have $200 to give him. It should be under warranty (my house is only 8 years old) but the company who installed them no longer does it.

I went ahead and used $2000 of the $2600 that I was going to use towards closing costs and put them towards paying off the AmEx--this has really gotten me in a good habit of paying a card off monthly--and then put the rest towards paying down the Visa.
I get paid on Thursday and Friday next week and should be able to knock the Visa down by half; another payment will go towards the car; and my mortgage will transferred from HomeBridge to Village Capital. Just in time, too, because I just got a notice that HomeBridge was changing servicer to Freedom Mortgage, of which I'm not a fan: their customer service is crap.
I want to say that I should have the Visa paid off come May 1st but life has a tendency to get in the way so I'm just playing it by ear at this point.

Our mortgage servicer is changing to0. I am waiting for the new account number so I can schedule the April payment. Has anyone heard of this company. Nationstar Mortgage LLC doing business as Mr. Cooper? It is March 27th and still no account number. Not sure what to do about it.
Take care everyone.

I've been pretty lucky with having my notes sold over the years, but my sister has had a mess since buying her place Feb 2020. a lot of it is a result of the original mortgage company's mistakes, but the new servicer isn't much better.
