The lies start at about 6minutes 20 seconds in. From his accomplice in the robbery himself. just a few questions? Johnson states at first the officers door almost knocks the wind out of him as it opens. In the same breath he says the door hit mike more and barley touched him! second , How does a man sitting in a police car reach up and grab a 6' 4" 292lb man , cough , "gentle giant" by the neck and drag him into the car through the front window with one hand? The prime witness for the defense is a liar ! As further evidence will show. meet mr. johnson www.msnbc.com/politicsnation/watch/eyewitness-to-brown-shooting-speaks-out-317576259958

Real classy officer. Police officer brands Ferguson protesters 'rabid dogs'A police officer in Missouri was suspended Friday after he voiced his contempt via Facebook of protesters condemning the fatal shooting of a black teenager by a white police officer. The police department in Glendale, another St Louis suburb, said Friday it had suspended one of its officers who expressed contempt for the Ferguson protesters on his Facebook account. Matthew Pappert was the latest police officer from the St Louis area in three days to be suspended for questionable conduct amid the Ferguson protests. "I'm sick of these protesters. You are a burden on society and a blight on the community," wrote Pappert in one of at least five posts that went up since Sunday. "These protesters should have been put down like a rabid dog the first night," he added. In a reference to the Boston Marathon bombing, he also wrote: "Where is a Muslim with a backpack when you need them." Police officer brands Ferguson protesters 'rabid dogs'

So the reaction to racism is more racism? What a surprise.

So the reaction to racism is more racism? What a surprise. that is precisely it. it is self perpetuating, self reinforcing.

That is a horrible thing to say...and I don't care how much stress he's been under. I am stunned that anyone even THINKS this, let alone writes it.

This entire issue is clouded in racism. Good old Sharpton and Jackson will be at the ceremony today and will undoubtedly do their very best to fan the fire. I heard on the radio last night that the "Administration" will also be sending someone to the service.
I wasn't there and have no idea what the truth is but I'm more than tired of news reports that are all over the map relative to who is to blame.
One aspect I find troubling relates to gunshot residue (GSR). Some dopey reporter said that if there is GSR on Brown, it will prove he was gunned down from a distance (intimating a rogue racist officer is to blame).
Uh, helloooo - GSR from a handgun "usually" only travels "about" 3-4 feet (depending in part on caliber) So, if there IS GSR on Brown's clothing, in addition to being on the "front" of his clothing rather than his back as one "witness" stated, he would have to have been quite close. Now, let's say the 3-4 foot number is wrong and that it can travel FIVE times that far (20 feet).
If I have a guy the size of Brown coming toward me from 20 feet away, I know he can cover that ground in just a couple if seconds and, absent a big smile on his face and a handful of flowers, I'm likely to take whatever action is necessary to protect myself.
Again, I wasn't there and I'm not about to judge - it's the damn media, along with Sharpton, Jackson, etc. that really ticks me off.
OK, rant over - flame away.

Yes, and now his is being painted as a missionary who was out spreading the word of God: "Michael was a big guy, but he was a kind, gentle soul, and before he left this Earth, the day that he was killed, he was out spreading the word of Jesus Christ," a family friend said.www.cnn.com/2014/08/25/us/ferguson-michael-brown-funeral/index.htmlUmmm, can anyone tell me where Jesus told us to steal and knock smaller people around? No? Didn't think so. Yes, it sounds like there is a problem down there which is bigger then this one incident, but it applies equally to both sides of the coin.

So ArchietheDragon - please expand upon what Jesus did that was so much worse? He threw people out of the Temple. He broke laws and did not respect the authorities. He worked on the Sabbath and spent too much time with other law breakers. He disregarded almost all tradition ways of life and caused and encouraged others to do the same. He was persona non grata #1.

Got it. So you consider going against societal norms much worse then stealing and assulting other people.
I happen to disagree with that view, and certainly hope stealing and shoving smaller folks around never becomes acceptable.
To each their own.

So the question from Ferguson of why Brown would attack a police officer for a simple crime of robbery...comes a story out of Texas where a police officer was killed by a guy that had a simple warrant out on him for graffiti: www.cnn.com/2014/08/23/us/texas-police-chief-killed/index.html?hpt=us_c2And we wonder why police can be a little jumpy during an arrest with even a hint of resistance?

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! (said in my best Gomer Pyle voice). People that do bad things don't want to go to jail and might resist even up to and including violence against the police that may try to arrest them. Who'd'a thunk it!?!?

Don't mean to mess up the religious thread by getting back on track but......
I see Sharpton didn't digress from his typical race-bating $hit-disturbing rhetoric at the service for Brown. God, that guy is SUCH a racist!

Might not have locked good on a closed circuit camera recording. Hmmm. Your version of that is a bit different then what I recall being taught. It seems really inconsistent to believe that one moment he'd be preaching turn the other cheek then the next beating the crap out of someone. In general his parables and preachings were of peace.

And of course bring Zimmerman into it- another hero. He was clearly a murderer that created the situation- and if you think he isn't maybe you hire him He's in FL with you, your dumbass laws, and available for work- word has it he's got security experience.
Well, a jury that actually heard ALL the evidence unanimously disagreed with your view regarding Mr. Zimmerman.......But why should that matter to you?
Only people with a highly tuned penchant for ignorance would even consider trial by media.....Congrats

Ok......We'll just ignore the fact that he (Brown) committed a strong arm robbery minutes before the shooting and we'll all pretend he was a boy scout. How about we wait for the facts to present before nomination this guy for sainthood.......Are we seriously going to bring Jesus into this?

Thanks for the link, mmhmm. The eulogy was right on the money. Well spoken. I agree, Tennesseer. While I don't always care for Mr. Sharpton's presentation of himself, I thought his speech was very well done and very well received. I hope everyone he addressed actually listened to what he was saying.

I'll never say Rev. Sharpton is well-spoken...because he isn't. But his words were words of coming together...figuring things out. I read nothing racist in his words. It sounded to me like a message of "nobody is perfect and we never will be, but we can strive to be closer to perfection than we are in this moment". Its my opinion he was speaking of all races. I see nothing racist in what he said.

He's just a murderer that FL did not convict as far as I am concerned- no point in revisiting it. In fact he would have been toast in most states. He's a murderer sure as Joe Horn is a TX murderer- and TX didn't even indict him. Lots of murderers out there that got away with it. Forget that loser.
The issue is whether or not Wilson is a murderer- suffice it to say a shitload of people have made their minds up one way or the other.
