I know at least two of the mods are already following this thread so I'll leave it up to them. But that kind of shit is beneath all of us (I would really like to think). I hope the mods are following...there is NO reason to call us fat :-(

If you would just switch back to shots, there wouldn't be an issue

Beer or other carbonated stuff doesn't work well in the Camelback. Mixed drinks (with fruit juice mixers, again no carbonation) work well, though. <<takes notes>> How about wine? Haven't tried wine. Since it's not carbonated, that's a plus. On the other hand, liquids in the Camelback tend to warm up fairly quickly (since it's next to your body) so you'd need to put ice in it (not sure that sounds good), accept that it's warm (blah) or... drink it quickly. I think we have a winner.

MT... when you've filled up your water bottle with vodka, you sneak it into the fair in the pocket of your cargo shorts and buy cheap lemonade or orange juice and tend your own bar. And then they can't fleece you for $13 drinks like last time...
Not that I would know anything about this.

That sounds like a lot of work...just get drunk in the parking lot, first...errr...not that I would know anything about that

"I want to know who the other know it alls are." Definitely not you (not intended as an insult). "bunnysmom... I like you but that was way over the line. I'm debating whether to report it. I'm normally not the reporting type when it comes to this board but I don't like to see my friends attacked either. " By all means, go ahead. This is the problem. Everybody is footing around their real thoughts. I just said what I was really thinking. If it gets me banned, I don't care, if I am permanently banned, even better so I don't have to keep wasting time Nobody is honest with each other unless it is somebody they don't like or new. My feelings/thoughts towards a subject don't change just because the person bringing up the opposite is someone I like. This board is not really anonymous anymore which defeats the whole purpose (of why I post here). I completely disagree. I am almost always on the other side of a debate from everyone. That doesn't mean I don't speak my mind. But I also don't find the need to rip someone apart personally. Lord knows I've made enough of my own fuckups in life. I have very strong opinions but I "usually" try to debate the issue and not get personal...

This thread will be deleted for sure any second now, so let's get important stuff cleared out -
Milee and MissT - what are you talking about - what is Camelback??
Oh and did you know - no one questions what you are drinking if it's in a SpiderMan bottle?

I "think" a camelback is a backpack like cooler that you put in your back when you go hiking or for long bike rides... ETA:::NOW you tell me about the Spider-Man cup? That tip could have saved me a lot of embarrassment at last weeks cheer camp....in my defense, I don't think it is possible to deal with cheer moms sober...

Mid only mentioned deleting my post, not the entire thread... but who knows.

I don't think I backtracked. I never changed my position, only clarified what I meant all along. But whatever, I'm done with all the drama.

Oh and did you know - no one questions what you are drinking if it's in a SpiderMan bottle? A Camelback is a hydration pack used by hikers and endurance runners (and probably other athletes too). You put the liquid in this flexible pouch like thing (with a wide enough opening to get ice cubes into) and it straps onto your back. Easy to carry. You drink out of it by sipping through a long, plastic hose thing.

Okay, folks, you've been told to cut it out. You're to cut it out and cut it out now. I'll very happily move every nasty post to the graveyard and I don't care who posted it. MidJD has been more than reasonable in her requests. Leave it.

back to drinking with LenaAnd Firebird. And milee.
I discovered the Camelback when training for a marathon. It didn't take long to occur to me that it might have other uses than just toting Gatorade on an 18 mile run.
The straw thing is no biggie and keeps it from leaking. Normally I just drink water, but don't like the taste of plastic, so added a little Gatorade to disguise the plastic taste of the Camelback (but I'm weird like that and don't like plastic water bottles, think plastic drinking cups taste weird, etc.) Oh, and booze hides the plastic taste just fine as well.

Tucker Death Mix
Ice, a liter of vodka, a bottle of Gatorade, and several cans of Red Bull. Mix in Camelbak. Enjoy. Enjoy more. Fall down.

I'm not into red bull...but if we mix grain and koolaid it will transport me back to my high school days...my birthday is in a few days, I need to be transported back to my youth!

Seems someone else is feeling guilty about being a bad mom. I'm sure a fair amount of us have done something that we either now feel is wrong or someone else does.
