Well ok then.... I took her "what I meant was" as clarification for you, since you didn't seem to get that all she really meant was... the extra work aspect. Can we argue about something more fun now? The thing is that I really find poop funny. What can I say, I love poop humour! Cleaning it, not so much, which is why I wouldn't re-use washcloths to wipe my ass. Well now you've gone and done it. You agreed with me on something. How can we be arguing if you're going to agree with me?!

Can I just say how glad I am that the ad gremlins haven't picked up key words from this thread to determine what ads I see next?

can we go back to the FB trainwrecks? that discussion was way more interesting than all this talk about poop. This is all my friends and I talk about on facebook. Our lives revolve around. (not really, but the friends i interact with the most, it is all about our kids)

But as someone else mentioned, thats a lot of water and detergent you're going to go through. And it's just nasty! Um, do you know how much water it takes to make toilet paper and detergent? You can feel that it's nasty, but thinking that it would require more water and resources than the production of toilet paper is completely false. Have you thought how much water and energy it takes to make the paper? How much water and energy it takes to run the factory, create the packaging, get it to the stores? It's always that uneducated argument about it not being ecological because it takes water and soap to clean that is just mind boggling. I cloth diapered both my children and it irked me to no end. But yeah, you are entitled to your other opinion. The disconnect: MM is more concerned with the (perceived) waste due to extra laundry detergent use and the water use of her home budget. Rainy thinks she is talking about environmental concerns because that is what she herself cares about.

can we go back to the FB trainwrecks? that discussion was way more interesting than all this talk about poop. well let's see what's going on today: family towel- just posted a picture of her 6 year old daughter laying on a sofa wearing sunglasses and holding what appears to be a "40" ounce thing of juice? with the caption "Hello Lolita"
"stripper" posted about the next movie that comes out that she did some choreography for (no bikini shots of her)
my cousin (age 20) is really tarting it up lately and posting a lot of booty shots and pics of her in skimpy outfits. Random
Stay at home mom with 7 kids (5 dads) is bitching that "it's going to be a long F-ing summer" Oh really? trapped in your tiny house with 7 kids? Ya think?
Had an argument with a WIR poster about whether or not kids can read cursive writing and she claims that kids now can't sign there name and only know how to print it. I disagreed with her.
It's been a slow day news wise.
But hey- my kid finally sent me one message from Berlin to say "Today was good, I'm tired now" so I'm assuming that means he made it there safe and sound and has his luggage? IDK

I have no trainwreck news to share. My usual sources are all busy having family tragedies. I need new FB friends.

Dang. Forty ounces of anything going into a six-year-old is bound to come out wrong. (Sorry, it's been a crappy day. Figuratively speaking).

Today's FB feed is far too staid.
It's the usual suspects of cute kids, puppies, random pictures, and political crap.

DB broke up with his boyfriend, so that's been pretty dramatic on FB today.
And the darn Jamberry nails people flooding my newsfeed. Those nail wraps look intriguing, but I am so annoyed by all of their posts that I almost don't want to buy any just for that reason. But as a chronic nail-biter they might be a good option for me. Has anyone tried these IRL?

Sam- no I haven't but I've been buying this strengthener from like Sally Beauty that seems to help. I layer it up pretty thick so it's slippery (?) and you can't get a good grip to bite them. Now sure how else to describe it. I take it off and replace it every other day. Usually takes a couple of weeks to get them looking decent again.

A little drama...well something that actually ticked me off. One of my groups of girls is trying to do a girls weekend in June 2015. We live all over the country - literally Seattle, to SoCal, to Florida, to Massachusettes and everywhere in between. There are 20 of us in the group. So, we through out some ideas and we weren't getting it narrowed down at all. So, I said ok, let's limit it to 2 hrs from a major airport. Then another girl did a poll to get a general area. The winner was the mountains. Some how, Kansas and Nebraska ended up on the list and I said lets, drop those and look at major airports and go from there. Then 2 gals who haven't said ANYTHING about the process up to this posted this:
H: What are we doing about getting around? Can't car rentals get $$$? Never rented one, so I have no idea! I think with all the varying flight times, 2 hours from a major airport is too much.
Me: We just said 2 hours as a starting point. We just needed something to narrow it down. We were throwing out all sorts of places earlier and we just needed to set a limit of how remote we could go. - Like Door County, WI was thrown out there, but it would definitely be too difficult to get to. So, we just put an arbitrary 2 hr limit on it. Yes, I think we were discussing sharing rental cars. But there may be places we look at that have shuttles. We just had to start narrowing it all down.
A: I'm not trying to sound snarky or pushy or anthing, but I agree with H when it comes to the price of transportation when we get there.... Money-wise I am going to literally be scraping what little I can to even get there in the first place since the closest airport that will *maybe* cost me under $500 for my plane ticket is almost 4 hours away... then a flight out that way is going to be at least another 4... so my travel time is already ALL DAY. Add on any more travel time/expense and I'm just not going to be able to swing it-- especially since I will have to shell out for child care for at least 2 days of the 4 that we're planning on....
H: I have to agree with A on the money/travel time. We kind of went from finding a easy place to go so we can all meet up and spend time together to activities/ sightseeing and possibly needing a car etc. And I understand that activities are optional, but who wants to be left out all the time when the whole point was to see each other? Trips are a HUGE TREAT to us, not something we get to do even once a year, so I'm really struggling here.
A: ^^Me, too!
So what rubbed me wrong about the whole thing was that we had discussions 2 weeks ago about where are we going. I felt like I was the only who was saying hey money here. It is too expensive to fly to say Jackson Hole etc. I repeatedly said, hey my airport is expensive to fly out of, where was A during those talks? Now A and H are complaining about money. I feel like I should probably shut up since I probably won't even be able to go since we are going to try to go my niece's graduation across the country in June 2015. Add in a bill from last year's diarrhea from hell in the hospital and our AC breaking, I don't see how I'm going to have the money for the trip. I don't like how we narrowed it down because I had a couple options that would not have been super expensive for everyone assuming they could fly to STL or Chicago Midway. Considering we have 3 girls that live in STL and I don't live super far away, that makes the most sense to me, but that is not how everyone wanted to do it.

Justme - THese girls are all "internet" friends. We met on babycenter. Some of us have had meet ups in person. A couple live in the same metro area (actually 2 live really close to each other). Most of us don't have a lot of local friends. I absolutely understand what they are saying, they aren't the only ones with money problems that want to go. Why haven't they spoken up until this point? I don't get it. They are content to let others make plans and then complain about it.

Facebook trainwrecks, I do have one to share. I have a friend who's family gatherings can only be described as white trash to the max. They can't get together and have a good time. Everyone must get rip roaring drunk and then the fight is on. He has 3 siblings all girls. He lives with one of them and her boyfriend and the other two live in Florida.
Last weekend one of the Florida ones was getting married in Tampa. To save money my friend, his sister and her boyfriend drove down in the boyfriend's car. They got in a fight about something and kicked him out of the car in Pensacola. His facebook status was, some immediate family members and their significant others should be shot. He and this sibling are too much alike, both of them need to get the last word in and have no control over their temper.
I would have thought the big blow up would have been at the wedding reception not on the way down. My friend flew back from Florida and rumor has it the boyfriend is going to his sister and move out.

I don't bite mine anymore, but they are wicked brittle and generally look like shit because they all keep breaking to different lengths. would love to strengthen them better than what Sally Hansen can do.

Hey now, we had a WIR meet up of a group of us no-spending girls in KC 5 years ago. It was cool, but it was just supper. (It was also on the MO side, but DH and I spent half the day on the KS side looking at cribs at Nebraska Furniture Mart). The gal that did the poll on locations took the US fish and wildlife definition of regions. The split up was odd -not only did it include Kansas and Nebraska in the mountains area, but also ND and SD, but people vetoed those states in the poll. We had a good list going of specific locations. and I would have done a couple polls to narrow down a favorite spot in a region and then the winners of the regions go head to head. I think if we had been talking specific locations, it would have worked better.

A girl I barely know posted about how she can't get by financially in San Diego and it is so expensive. Then she went on about student loans. She eats out almost every day according to her yelp reviews and Elite yelp status. Priorities!
