Im off to NYC then a Canadian Cruise. GD1 (8yo) was upset that her bros play in Hawaii & NYC this month and just returned from LA so she planned it. Her cousin (10yo DSs step) jaw dropped when she tearfully said she didn't get to go anywhere!!
Then Alaska for whitewater trip. CA drought will leave all our rivers in the 1/2 range and it really isn't any fun until the 3/4 range
Finally maybe an Ireland hike??

We have been doing a family vacation in Narragansett the past few years, so we are doing that again.

Nothing set in stone yet. I am sure us ladies will squeeze in another meet-up sometime this year. Ohhhh.....you want family vacations. We're going to the beach with the in-laws the week before Labor Day. I wouldn't classify that as a vacation (more like hell on earth) so you can understand my confusion.

Alaskan cruise in August. Has been on our bucket list FOREVER, finally just getting to it. We are going to Alaska in June. We were supposed to go a couple years ago and never could get the schedule to cooperate. This year, we were able to make it happen.

Ecuador, I'm not sure if they'd be in Quito or Cuenca. I've never been to any part of South America even though I've been learning Spanish off-and-on for about 5 years. So I'd be really excited to get some good immersion!

Right now, a family reunion in Quebec in October, wedding in Turks and Caicos in Nov. are all that is on the schedule. A friend is supposed to be planning a vacation up here in July, so know we will be paying tourist in the area.

DH and I already went to the Caribbean this year. St.Croix in late Feb./early March. so our big vacation for the year is over I'll go to Texas to visit family we'll probably do long weekends in wisconsin and michigan at some point this year. We're attempting to take up a house sitting offer in St. Croix for Dec 25th thru January 10th. Trying to coordinate days off to see if we can swing it.

Narragansett is in Rhode Island. On the southern tip. Little beachy type town. Poor man's Cape Code, which is the poor man's Newport, which is the poor man's Nantucket.

Chicago in June. Driving there with a stop in Nashville. Making final plans this weekend as to hotels and exact route. Never been to either city; cannot wait!
Hope to meet a board member or two along the way. The Captain is in Chicago and we hope to meet up. Anyone else?

Probably not going anywhere. If I can, I would like to just go overnight or weekend somewhere with DH before this kiddo comes along. Otherwise, I'll have a nice 2-3 month staycation at my house with an eating/pooping/peeing machine.

We were in Aruba last week. I miss it.
We might do a weekend at a friend's mountain house, we always do a few days in Avalon, NJ with hubs' entire family, and his mom owns a condo in Ocean City, so we'll use that in June (hubs is doing a city to shore bike ride) and August (hubs' birthday). We are planning on renting a fancy pants hotel room in Philly for our first anniversary and doing dinner and dranks.

A week camping on the beach in Florda in May. Just 6 weeks and 2 days to go. 3 nights at Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine and 4 nights on St. George's Island in the Gulf. So excited. The kids get to see their cousin (ok, much older cousin as she is a Senior in College in Jacksonville) and we get to spend the night with my BFF in Birmingham. We also may stop by and see the guy I do some work for in Georgia while we are road tripping, but I'm not sure that is going to work out without putting us at our Campground really late the first night.
Other than that, another long weekend at my mom and dad's house for my Grandma's 90th Birthday Party in July. DS will be spending a week with them by himself and that will feel like a bit of a vacation for us. Hopefully, we will get away again for our Anniversary in October and we'll probably go camping with friends a couple weekends this summer. I'm ready to take the kids exploring our state and the state south of us, there are lots State Parks out there within a short drive and I want to see them all! DH isn't quite as ready to spend our weekends doing that.

I had some great ideas for where we would go this summer - but my DH over-rode them all and said he wanted to go to Minnesota. I know it is a lovely place, but not really what I had in mind for vacation.
