I guess you missed this in the thread's opening post. That yellow one isn't much better than the horrible swirling black & white one you had up.

As with avatar pictures, do not use something that moves in a way that could cause problems to those with epilepsy or other seizure disorders. If you're not sure, ask.

I guess the point you're trying to make this time, is that you can be childishly annoying.

I think the flames are pretty understated.  You can barely tell they're animated.  

Besides, you guys felt that the stuff in my mini profile wasn't very legible.  Now you can read all of it.

The first post in the thread tells you how, GEL!  Just find an image you like, use Paint to resize it to 250 wide by 500 high, upload it to Photobucket (or the like) and put the URL for the image where moon described.  You're there!

Or that I think the mini profile images, signatures, and colored text are.  Definitely one or the other.

I did read and I understood most of it, but I don't have the Photobucket thing so I stopped at that point.  It doesn't matter.  I can enjoy the others.

I had to add that into the first post, SL. Even though it's clearly stated that such things aren't allowed in avatars, dark apparently didn't extrapolate that it would apply to other pictures as well.

it doesn't have to be that size exactly. but if you choose a larger picture, it will only show a portion of it.

I crop out a area about 173 wide by 400 high from any image that I love, cause I gotta be able to live with it.

I cropped out and re-sized mine to 150 x 180.

Much larger than that, and the image became less sharp and more "hazy" or blurred.

I messed with the pixels a bit, as well.  I wanted my background a little blurred, so the larger size suited my purposes perfectly.

I'd actually switched to one of the Vskins, but I'd rather switch back with the option to have the custom backgrounds not show.  I'll try it now.
