I got a completely different image, I didn't use his image at all only to find more like it.

Some day I gotta get imaging software and designing software. I feel the urge to tweak & create.

Okay I tested out the sizes, so 173 wide by 400 height will cover your mini profile without repeating.

What part of your background do you want to be displayed ? Do you want the lighthouse or sailboat or neither ?

Neither. I was just saying how things change from what the picture looks like once you put it in for your background. There are so many nice ones it's hard to decide on one and you don't really know how they'll look until you try it. Not complaining - just letting people know when/if they try to do it too - what to expect.  Sug - You need to fix yours. Not attractive right now! (the background - not you) It says "Sorry. Image not found" or something like that. |

It's the background to your avatar. Here are the instructions: Go to your Profile and then Edit Profile Then click on the Personal tab Go all the way down to the bottom of the page to Mini Profile. Enter the url for the picture you wish to use there. Be sure to SAVE afterwards. Archie - You pick pictures for your background just like you do your avatar. Go to Properties and then get the URL and copy and paste it in. Moon, SL, Sug (did have one), Billison, and I have a blue background around my avatar now. ETA: Sug - It's back now! |

Archie, to the immediate left of my post, where my avatar is, you don't see a purple/pink swirly background? no. But I am using one of virgil's skins.
V5 is all modifications is skin by skin.

It's nothing personal. I hide avatars and signatures too. Pages load faster, and they're easier to read if they're just text. For those of you that enjoy animated avatars, background images, colored text, and everything else, have at it. I'd rather block it all and have black text on a white screen just for readabilities sake.
