Spaghetti squash is in the oven and I have homemade sauce to heat up to go with it. I'm going to toss in some ground beef I already have cooked in the freezer.
I have so many bits and pieces already cooked that I won't have to cook completely from scratch for days. With our nor'easter in full swing, I'm living out of my stockpile. Not going to compete for a gallon of milk.
Nobody but me liked dinner. It was that delicious squash that they all objected to.

I prefer zucchini noodles to spaghetti squash. My kids won't eat either, sigh.
I don't know what I'm making tonight... I really need to get a menu going...

I think I am making ham, cheese and broccoli crustless quiche tonight. Cheap, easy and not terrible WW wise. I have some ham from boiled dinner that needs to be used up. I probably got 10+ meals out of this $5 ham I bought after Easter last year and froze. I love ham

I have leftover black bean soup I made. Tonight I'm having it over high fiber pasta, with garlic bread. Tomorrow I want to make potato soup.

Had my autumn soup last night...YUMMY!
Tonight is going to be chicken breasts fixed some way or other. DH doesn't really care for chicken so I have to try to make it tasty for him.
Malarky, I don't blame them....I don't like spaghetti squash either. Grew it once years ago...that once was enough, same with kale...ICK!
Well, dang! That bee hive got in there and now the site won't let me take it out...didn't want that!

dinner tonight's going to be grilled swordfish and Brussels sprouts w/pancetta. there was a nice half steak already cut when I went to the fish counter for last night's tilapia, it was still almost frozen. perfect to finish thawing in my fridge for tonight! $4.50 fish $2 sprouts $.50 for the mayo/lemon to brush on the fish, plus a couple slices of pancetta from the freezer.

Leftovers, mostly. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes for me. Crab cakes (bought 2 to a package, BOGO) and roasted red potatoes for DH.
Cost of the meal, basically nothing, since it's all leftovers.

Homemade turkey pot pie from the turkey breast I cooked a few days ago. All ingredients were things I had on hand, milk, flour, onions, garlic, canned veggies, canned chicken broth, pie crust.

Ok, I need some suggestions. Tonight, I cut up some of the leftover pork roast and it is simmering on the stove right now in some bbq sauce to make a couple bbq sandwiches over the next couple nights. Green beans and potato cakes to go with them. That will be tonight and tomorrow night's dinners. What suggestions do you have for the rest of the pork roast leftovers? Obviously, I could just slice, reheat, and eat with sides. Or make sandwiches (non-bbq, just slice and put on bread). But what else could I do with it? Thanks in advance!

"dinner" tonight is going to be mid-afternoon so I don't crash during my hockey game tonight. I'll grab a snack at the pub after the game, the team always goes out after early-ish games.
big meal today is going to be turkey chili (made a couple days ago) over spaghetti squash. I picked up a squash yesterday for $1.49/lb, I'll roast off half of it today. that will be good for today and lunch tomorrow. I'll do something else with the rest of the squash later this week.

I made cheeseburger soup for a late lunch, but didn't really have anything out/planned for dinner. I just threw a frozen crab cake in the oven with some leftover green beans. Now I want dessert. I always was dessert after dinner. I'm supposed to be on WW. This is a problem

Please remember to post cost per serving info too.
Today’s dinner is going to be soup: either minestrone, chicken or clam chowder from the freezer or I will put something together from stock in a box (broth, carrots, frozen veggies-counts as a veggie meal for me)) so no way to determine cost.

Tonight is angel hair pasta, Ragu sauce and elk sausage with homemade corn bread on the side. Angel hair pasta: Bought on sale for .50, will use 1/4 package = .12 1/2 cents Ragu sauce: $1/2 coupon so approx $1.17 for the entire jar Elk sausage: Given to us, so no cost Cornbread: IDK, what, maybe .50 a 1/9 of the pan? Corn meal (have had it forever) sugar (store brand), flour (store brand), baking powder (have had it forever), dash salt (ditto), egg (14 cents), oil (store brand), butter (on sale with a coupon) and honey (DH buys).

I don't keep track of costs. I buy in quantity at Sam's & Costco and I buy on sale at other stores. I also take advantage of the discounts/no paper coupon needed at Sam's & Costco when they have items I use in their flyers.
It will be homemade pizza tonight...with it. sausage, pepperoni, bell peppers from my garden (frozen) and onions I grew. Kind of hard to figure the costs of garden items also. I'll use 1/2 lb. of ground it. sausage and maybe 1/4 of a package of pepperoni (Bradford's) which costs about $4.29 per package. The crust mix was a little over $1. But we will get 2 meals out of this too....so a little over $1 per serving. If I decide to have a salad too, that would have to be added.
I made a big pot of soup the other day...autumn soup...hamburger (ground sirloin),4 potatoes, 4 carrots, 5 stalks of celery, 1 onion, seasonings and 7 tomatoes from my garden that I froze last summer. We will get 3 meals from that one pot of soup. Since I buy whole sirloin tips when they are on sale ($2.99 lb) and have a good pile in my freezer, it doesn't cost a lot...and then divide it by 3....so maybe around $6-7 for the whole pot....which would come out to about $1.25 per serving since we both eat crackers with it.
