Seems the 'knockout game' ìs a white invented thing (based upon pictures of the criminals). You will have to Google the killers' names and pictures yourself.  But here is a link about the first 'knockout game' victim who who were convicted for the September, 1992 murder.

Hate crimes are simply a legal designation that cover certain
classes of people based on what the legislators put into the law.
It is a lagging indicator and was likely created to further discourage
violence and crimes against certain legally protected minorities.
If you want to write your law makers, you can probably get whites
added to that protected list if you come up with some definition
that most of the legislators are going to vote for.

Think of hate crimes in the legal sense like being various forms
of being charged with murder. Not being a lawyer I don't even
know if having a crime classified as a hate crime even imposes
extra jail time or fines in addition to the actual crime(s) committed.

Word has been spreading in Florida that since we not only have the right to "stand our ground" but that it includes using deadly force to defend others from serious bodily harm or death- when the "knockout game" is spotted, there are a lot of us out there committed to shooting the assailant(s).  Funny it doesn't go on much down here. I'm sure there are pockets of it down in Miami in between face eating.  But in the normal parts of the state- it doesn't go on.

It won't be the two black kids from Illinois who exited their vehicle and approached me, you understand that, right?  If my kids were in the car, one or both of you might very well be dead right now.  Put away the bravado, and act like you have some sense."

As soon as they turned to walk back to their car- I gunned it out around the car in front of me and turned down a local street I know.  Wasn't going to wait for them to grab guns, or let them follow me.  

As a middle aged white guy, I know it's open season on me for black yutes-- this isn't racist, it's just a fact.      I don't want to hurt anyone, but I will defend myself and others from any crime.  And when you come down here from some fucked up northern peace of shit state where people subjected to illegal, and unConstitutional restrictions to their right to defend themselves, you better know you're not in Chicago, or NYC anymore.
