During the daylight hours, good weather, minimal traffic?
If so, please get the fuck out of my way.

Coming in to work every day there are 2 major curves on the interstate. The speed limit drops from 55 to 45. NEVER fails, some jerkhole in the far left lane will slam on their breaks and go 25. Just for good measure. Usually keeping pace with a semi in the middle lane so that no one can pass. Causing a backup of traffic a mile long since everyone after them now has to slow down. Those curves are in the same place that they always are. Get the heck in the right lane if you want to go that slow. Grrrrrr.

If you're behind an old woman in a Dodge Ram who can barely see over the wheel please wave to my MIL for me.

Lmao....I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates the slow ones. I find them very annoying especially when they are in the left lane.

We only have speed limits in certain areas- other than that we have a suggested speed posted and a basic rule that says "reasonable and prudent for the current conditions".
Pisses me off when people think "safe and prudent" is 45 and people are lined up behind you.

Only when I have had a bad day at work. On the way home it feels so good to drive slowly in the left lane and look in the rear view and see the driver cursing me out.

Lmao....I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates the slow ones. I find them very annoying especially when they are in the left lane. Here's the problem: There is no left lane. It's 2 lane roads here, and that's it. If some butthole is driving too slow, it holds everyone up and you have to pass one by one when oncoming traffic allows it. I'm pretty tolerant of farm tractors and amish buggies, but if you are driving something that will go over 55, do it.

If so, please get the fuck out of my way. Sorry! Getting 2 tickets in one week was the first thing that made me slow down. Then I bought some wheels and low profile tires when I live in an area with potholes everywhere. After busting a few tires and bending a few rims, I slowed down some more so I can dodge potholes. People probably think I'm drunk sometimes, the way I bob and weave. It's been over a decade since I got those speeding tickets and several years since the last busted tire, but I still don't drive very fast any more. Not often anyway. At least I stay out of the passing lanes when I'm cruising along.

I hate that and my DH sometimes does that if he's talking and really gets into what he is talking about. I drove when we went to Cedar Key a few weeks ago and took my car. It's a 5-speed and I kept catching my speed getting over 90. At dinner a friend said "POM is a speed demon!" I said "It's not my fault. I drive like an old lady when I'm in an auto transmission but when I'm in a manual one it makes me want to go really fast! It's the gear shift's fault."

Yesterday, as I approached a green light, a driver pulled out from the left (where they had a red light) to get in front of me... and slow down. They drove 25 mph in a 35mph zone. A minute later, they tossed some trash out the window. About a half-mile later, we were stopped at a red light, I was the third car in line, litterer was second... the light changed, and car #1 tootled off in the distance while I sat behind the scheissekopf and waited. After waiting patiently, I then honked the horn, they finally proceeded, and I just managed to squeeze through the intersection before the light turned red. Past the intersection, the road widened to two lanes in either direction, so I was able to pass the nitwit... as I passed, I noted that the young lady driver (early twenties I figure) was looking down at her phone while texting. The road ahead of her and the cars behind her were all secondary priorities... mere afterthoughts, apparently.

I have two lane roads also and only a couple places to pass. The posted speed is 55, which means everyone does 60-65. But if I'm already doing 60+ and some ass hat is tailgating me- I have been known to toss stuff out the sun roof.

I had 2 pt in 2011. Those were the only ones in at least a decade, then two, four pointers within months. I fought the first one and got it lowered to two, but didn't even bother with the next one. I'm waiting to see if I need to take the test.
I've stopped taking back roads though... Saves no time if I actually have to go 40...

LOL. Only when slow drivers in front of me force me and when I'm very upset. For the latter, I really am a danger to all so I try not to drive. Luckily, not much gets me that upset these days.

If so, please get the fuck out of my way. Only if you cut me off or did something else stupid. Then driving below the speed limit in front of you is my way of enjoying myself.

The texting jerks drive me crazy do anything but pay attention to driving I've thought of looking around to see if I can by a horn that mimics those found on a locomotive. One blast from that and they will forget about texting because they'll have to hurry home and change their underwear - works for me

If it's a nice day out, no traffic, and I'm going under the speed limit there's probably a body or large stash of drugs in the trunk. Only reasons I can think of that I would ever be putting along like that.

Reminds me of my morning!
I was late to work and as I was driving down our 25 mph road up to the main drag I was behind some yodel who was not only weaving back and forth between the two lanes, he was going about 15! We both made rights on to the main road so I passed him, but got stuck at the next traffic light.
When he (eventually) pulled up next to me I SWEAR he was smoking a blunt!

I was doing 41 in a 45 zone on Saturday evening. The driver behind me kept flashing his lights at me, then pulled over onto the shoulder to try to pass me illegally but there wasn't enough room so he went back to just flashing his lights. I was not inclined to speed up for an idiot. Eventually the road widened into two lanes and he moved over to the left. We then stopped at a traffic light at a major intersection. He was first in his lane, I was second in mine. He proceeded to make a right turn from the left lane. In any case, the posted speed limit is the maximum, not the mandatory minimum.
