The lights haven't even flickered, it's after 9:30 PM (EST) on Friday the 15th...
It was the 13th & 14th, nothing on the 15th as far as I know.

I was wrong...the next food run came at 11:30. We have also added 2 more extra teens to the mix. They had to take 2 cars to go get food. Look out Burger King, you're about to be invaded by teenaged PS4 zombies! lol

You're house must be the go-to house to hang out at.

You're house must be the go-to house to hang out at. It is & always has been. I always felt that I'd rather have a houseful & know where kiddo is & who he's with than have him running the streets. So we always have at least 1 or 2 extra...some days we'll have 8 or 9 extra. At least now they are all old enough to bring/buy their own food.

I'm a really laid back mom. Loud music doesn't bother me, I either turn mine up (and I always win, I have bigger & more speakers) or go under my headphones. They are all good kids who follow my house rules...no drinking & don't break anything in my house. I'm a night owl, so I don't care if they stay up all night. We live out in the country & the houses aren't too close, so if they want to go play football at 3 am in the backyard, no biggie. If they want to hang out around a bonfire, have fun boys!
I believe that because I don't have a ton of rules & I'm not a hard ass about them 'behaving", they have no problem following the rules we have. I don't care who is smoking a cigarette. I don't care if they cuss. I don't care if they get loud while playing video games. I don't care if when I wake up in the morning, that there are teens scattered all over the basement snoring. It doesn't bother me. I know kiddo is here. I know who he's with. I don't have to be a bitchy mom to get that kind of info out of him. I just have to look around.
and seriously, teenaged male conversation can be a riot to listen to. They have me rolling in the floor all the time at their antics. I probably know more about some of these kids than their own parents do.
