It was definitely at Fort Bragg North Carolina because we all bused up to watch the 1st Air Delivery Platoon make their final jump and get their parachute wings.....I have no idea what you are using for your source or reference. Also I remember because Fort Bragg was where the Special Forces (Green Berets) were also jumping and training and not at Fort Benning.. So you obviously have no idea what you are talking about......for the period 1960 - 1965 in the Marine Corps or the book you are using for your facts is not correct....like I said before Wiki is not a good source for military history nor is google...

OK. I'll type slowly for you. I was not drafted. I enlisted right out of high school. I did so, because the Constitution and Bill of Rights were not just dusty old documents that you may get to see on your senior class trip, but living breathing documents that need to be protected by sacrifice and service. Two of my brothers and my little sister never served in the military, but I did to guarantee those rights for them and every other American citizen. Not just the veterans, and not just for those who agree with me. If you don't understand that basic principle, then it's not me that anyone has to worry about, but you.

Let me make myself perfectly clear...... I could care less about you or your stupid visions of grandeur.....and I have never heard of a fellow Marine who would go along with all of the crap being spewed by Cedaredge at another Marine.....it just doesn't happen....not in the Old Corps and definitely not in the New Corps who have nothing but respect and admirations for those who went before them in the Corps but something you don't understand or can't understand because your are all about yourself .
And our Air Delivery Platoon made several jumps onto Camp Geiger when I was there. But now that I think more about those days it could be that they trained at both Fort Bragg and Fort Benning at the same time so that might explain what really went on in that time before Nam..
Maybe Henry Clay can help me with this disagreement beause all you want to do is take cheap shots at my comments on this subject. or look for spelling errors what a piece of work you are

Every one of you call up a Marine Corps recruiter tomorrow, and find what a total con job Reform Day Trader really is. Don't take his or my word. Let the Marine Corps tell you where jump school is/was, and always will be. This guy projects his lies onto everyone else. First, he was supposedly in Recon, but he can't answer any of the questions that I asked him? My questions forced him to admit that he was actually a radio operator (probably a cpl Radar O'Riely). So, if he ever was in the Corps, at best he was a leg. Next, after some time passes, he then comes back and starts telling me where my training takes place? Having never gone through it himself of course.
Make the calls tomorrow, guys. Then, come back and call him on the carpet for the con job that he really is.

If you really served you would be fully aware that what I said was factual for that period in the Marines prior to Nam, so naturally since you are a phony then go after the guy anyone revealed you as a complete fraud. And attack him with ounce of your being because he can detect a fraud and scam from the first few comments on this thread

Those calls will prove "you" to be the phony, and that you never really served in my Marine Corps. You clearly say things that could come out of any book, or off the net, but I have not heard one thing that clearly says that you actually served.
I have given the distance from Main side to French Creek (not going to be found in any source except from actual service in the Corps), spoke of Onslow Beach, names of streets, bars, etc. All the things that a real Marine can actually speak to, because I have served. Not once have you spoken like a Marine, concerning things that we real Marines know all about. My fellow Marines and I can speak to these things, because we have actually sacrificed four years of our lives living it.
