Dear HR Manager I did not tell our mutual boss the followingL 1. you gave me an incorrect name of the person who put in their resignation. 2. You told me they were hiring an athletic training when in realty they were hiring a seasonal volleyball coach. 3. You told me to pay employee a 150.00 dollars when employee A was to be paid 75.00 4. You told me to pay employee b 75.00 dollars when employee B was to be paid 150.00 I just cant handle these errors for much longer. What is wrong with him? Sounds like he's losing it. Sorry you have to deal with such nonsense, especially now. It is a her. She started in July. I think she is overwhelmed. I think she over sold her abilities. I know Covid has added extra to her plate. However one day I will not catch one of the errors.

Oh, I always forget about this thread. I need to use it instead of just being bitchy to the people I'm annoyed with.
ners, how is this person aligned with you on the hierarchy? If my quality of work were at all close to being questioned because someone else repeatedly wasn't doing their job, I would not agree to not go above them.

Knee Deep in Water Chloe She has a higher position then me. I am a manager and she is a director. At one time I reported to the previous HR Director. Then I reported to the Controller. When the Controller was promoted to VP of Finance and Administration I stayed still report to the VP. I hesitate to bring up "little" things to the VP. When speaking with the former HR Director she has indicated to me I just need to let the new HR Director fail. I am going to try not to think about work until Monday when I have to process the payroll.

Yeah, sometimes you just have to let the cards fall as they may. I found it less stressful than trying to anticipate what mistake would become my fault every day.

In that case, he was just plain crazy. Or expecting to be taken out for a meal. Or have Uber Eats meet him at your door. Some people just don't think for themselves and figure other people will take care of those pesky details instead.

Dear Costco Shopper,
Costco requires you to wear a mask to get inside the store, and while you shop. If you can't wear a mask for medical reasons, Costco requires you to wear a face shield. Read the signs!
Chatting on the phone to someone about whether they "need" animal crackers because you haven't bought any in a while and whether to buy 2 boxes, one for your house and one for theirs, is not a reason to wear your mask around your chin. Yes, I understand it's hard to be understood in a phone call when you're wearing a mask. Have that conversation before you go into the store.
Compared to you, all the shoppers who wear their masks underneath their nose look almost smart.
Signed,
Mask Police

Oh, wait, that's bonkers, not crackers. My bad, but you get the idea.

To people ordering and delivering food ---
I don't have food delivery and I really do not appreciate opening my door and finding food bags left on the doorstep when I go to leave in the morning. How long have they been there? Are random animals going to start surveying my place looking for food left out?
I also don't appreciate drivers that knock late at night. Just because there is a light on does not mean that someone is awake.
People who get the munchies at whatever time of day or night --- Make sure that you update your location and give damn descriptions such as if your condos are green or tan or what your welcome mat looks like -- it makes a big difference if you get your food or not.
Still not happy and ready to make a big sign for my front door.
Snap~

Dear Johnny, It's not fair that you are gone. You would have been 67 in two months. Young enough to enjoy doing all the things in life you were lucky enough to be able to afford. It's not fair that all these people who loved and respected you are left to grieve your absence. Your family, friends, employees, club members and all the people you mentored. It's not fair that your nearest and dearest are left stunned by your sudden departure from this world. No goodbye, just plans left incomplete, promises unfulfilled. It's not fair that you mostly did this to yourself. You were a lifelong diabetic Type 1. Medicated all your life, careful about what you consumed, mindful of your exercise. When suddenly, you weren't.
It's not fair that you stopped paying attention to yourself, while continuing to give so much to the community and those around you. You were supposed to be number one. Now you are one more we will not see until the end of our lives here brings us together again. DH took this hard. He always thought he'd die first. It's not fair that you beat him to it.

A guy he knew for 30 years and raced cars with for many of those years. I knew him for about 25 years. He was very well known in the community.

Thanks, gang. I was especially bothered by the number of people who did not come out to pay final respects. I know there were many who disagreed with his community and volunteer work, but he did so much for so many for free. I always said, "If you can do it better than Johnny, step up. Otherwise, step back and shut up." He was not always right, but he was always very good. He knew he had critics, and he was OK with that. He still tried to do what he thought was best.

And of course....the neighbors, who have been in remodel mode for nine months now, would pick today to bring in the crew with the cement saws to put in their new concrete walkway leading to their new pool. These are the same neighbors who decided to put in a DIY French drain to keep from flooding their driveway -- and wound up draining standing water from our driveway while seriously flooding their own. The same neighbors who drained their backyard and flooded three lawns around them before the pool went in. The same neighbors who spent seven months ripping their house innards out to the studs and rebuilding it to get rid of mold. All the while using work crews in no-name (and quite likely uninsured and unlicensed) trucks to do all of this. I will be shocked if it all passes county inspection standards. And no, I will not swim in that pool, even if they offer it. They have four little boys. Boys have cooties, especially at that age. And I will bet my last buck they don't hire a professional service to maintain the pool.
