Most of us have been posting for a while, for several years at least. So let's do a bit of reminiscing. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/smiley.png) What thread(s) throughout your posting career really stand out in your mind? Obviously these can be on the new boards or the old msn money message boards.

I don't remember the title of that thread but the guy was freakin hilarious in all his calims Dark and Loop's thread which lead to all the drama.

The "Who wants to drink with me thread" on the old Boards. I never would have signed on if it wasn't for that one. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/smiley.png)

Ok, that thread wasn't funny but I remember the thread where toughtimes wished testicular cancer on Miss Tequila. And MT replied she didn't even have testicles to get cancer in them. For some reason I found that to be hilarious even though the thread had taken an ugly turn.

I think the first thread I really participated in (old boards) was one about regional expressions/figures of speech. It was hilarious.

Well, I remember getting in a couple of WWE smackdowns with suziQ over at SAHM vs. working moms debate in the old boards in 2009. OH man, those got out of control.
I recall the original "radical" unschooling thread because I think people got banned.
I also recall someone saying drinking hydrogen peroxide was somehow good for you. Was that Lonewolf?

Damn, it seems I miss all the good ones. What was the deal behind the duct tape wedding, and the terri threads? Terri was/is the past version of doxie. There are uncanny similarities between the two. A boy toy husband younger than her, comes from a non-US country, a girl child from a previous relationship, a toddler with current DH/boytoy, money issues, absolute refusal to believe enything is wrong with their lives, a car that is more important than life itself, both are based in Maryland etc. (I still believe that doxie is Terri incarnate here ) Terri posted on old YM about her life and money issues. You didn't miss much there. If you have read any of the doxie threads then you pretty much are up to date on Terri ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png) Duct tape wedding dres....O.M.G. that was as hilarious as it could get. A wedding dress fashined with duct tape .......imagine the hilarious turn it took.

That's cm, not Terri.
Terri was an abused mom of two of was a social worker, of all things, who didn't think she was abused. He only hit her a few times. And didn't work. And told her what to do and who to talk to. And her kids didn't have any problems because of the abuse. Her daugher barely talked at all and her son wouldn't poop.

Its somehow unfashinable in her world to take the kids to the zoo over the weekend. Good moms take the kids on Tuesdays.....

The OP from the wedding dress obviously spoke English as a second language, so we had a difficult time figuring out what her issue was. Iowa Swirl translated (in EXTREMELY hilarious fashion) for us all.

And she was pissed because the store wouldn't take the dress back after she'd destroyed it with her "alterations".

No, that was actually CM (something) that posted on MSN. 99.9% of the details of her life story were the same as doxie. But, they are not the same person, so says doxie...

I stand correced about Terri. It WAS CM and not Terri that resembles doxie so much.
Sadly, I remember the last gew threads by KineticKid. She seemed so depressed and so controlled by her husband She stopped posting when everyone started pointing out that she might be under depression. I really hope she is ok.
Does anyone remember OneDaySaudiWife from the old YM? She started one thread about marrying an Arab and that thread turned bone chilling pretty soon.

If you work full time and take them on Saturday you're depriving them.

I remember. I was really hoping she was a troll because her threads were really sad. She stopped posting when everyone started pointing out that she might be under depression. I really hope she is ok.
No she stopped posting when she informed us that people who love their children are "drug addeled idiots" that let their biology control them. She's too intelligent to fall for that so that's why she has a hard time relating to her kid. The post on EE about the mom who doesn't love her kids reminded me a lot of KK. I feel bad for her because she was in a suckky situation and seemed unwilling/unable to do anything about it, but she lost some of my sympathy after she started bashing other moms for being "less intelligent". I do hope she grew a backbone and told her husband and his "career" to piss off.

Yeah she got mad at me because I said if that's your attitude I'm starting to understand why you have a hard time making friends.
