And who was the poster who said children should never be seen in public and locked in the house by 6pm for bed? I also miss Fitqueen. She was the personal trainer who said she tells her clients they are so fat nobody will ever love them and they should hate themselves. I also learned from her that all autoimmune disorders, like lupus, would cease to exist if we got our fat asses off the couch and stopped drinking coffee. Think of how much research money has been wasted when the solution is right in front of us. ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/crazy.gif)

Early doxie threads (They are all the same now. We know the pattern so <yawn> The initial ones were pretty amazing and entertaining though ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png) The Terri thread on old YM IiI thread (?) I don't remember the title of that thread but the guy was freakin hilarious in all his calims Dark and Loop's thread which lead to all the drama. Junior the Third -- he was an awesome poster!

DOOW. He was fun. I especially liked when he would start accusing people of obviously being on Toyota's payroll. It's amazing they can turn a profit with how many folks they pay to scour the internet for message boards where the company is being badmouthed and stick up for them. I own a Toyota. Should I be ashamed of myself? ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/melancholy.png) yes, but not because you own a toyota.

Buying a car in New York lasted forever. I logged off for a year, came back and it was still at the top.
I really like bigbeanburger's babysteps thread.

I believe it was the "just any warm place to stick it" comment that really disgusted me. If that was the thread that comment was on, I can see why women were getting a little miffed. I'd like to think that my husband considers me more than a warm place to stick it. He doesn't.

No Paul is the wooden spoon guy and freaks if a kid spills bubbles or drops a piece of chicken on his porch.
The 6pm guy was a different poster.
Paul's P&M thread about skim milk at McDonald's and how it's Michelle Obama's fault was a memorable one.

Threads I can't forget
- cm threads - especially the one where she explained to us that she needed 2 bathrooms because after five minutes she was "just getting started" - the original doxie threads - one of bunnysmom's first threads (back when she was stl) about stepparents (and how stable and great her marriage was) - there was a rape thread where paul posted about teaching his daughters to be brides rather than whores. my head exploded in so many ways, then the thread got deleted. I'm still pissed about that one, I had more to say. - original unschooling thread
I feel like there are so many others, but if I've forgotten them they obviously don't fit the criteria.

It's not just you, Phoenix. Most of the "more colorful" posters have either left or been banned, which leads to less outrageous commentary. It is pretty vanilla around here now. sometimes we need a little chocolate....with nuts ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/tongue.png)

The ultimate thread was Buying a Car in New York. That is the thread all threads should be put up against.
It went from buying a car to buying a condo. It went from Prin-sis to unrequited love. It truly had it all.

Who was the poster that posted a ton of studies about having kids and said she sits around with friends discussing the very serious implications the carbon footprint of your child can have on the world and if you don't think about that before having kids clearly you're not a responsible parent.
Same poster also said her hubby expects her in tip top physical condition right after having the baby. There is no excuse to not look like your pre-pregnancy self ASAP.
Some of Tea4me's threads were entertaining. She spends way too much time obessesing about other people.
The poster on EE who complained about his co-workers was good too. He was bitching they don't get their jobs done and he knows this because he records how often they go to the bathroom and times how long they are in there.
How much spare time does this guy have?

Way back when I first joined there was a poster named Bunchargum...he had the wildest friends and family. One I remember was something about his SIL the drunk substitute teacher. You always knew one of the first responders would be Nervous1 giving him shit for another useless thread.

I don't recall any of this? Maybe it was MSN EE - I tried to keep out of there.

No, the carbon footprint lady was here on YM. She only had one thread because she got mad at people for wondering WTF she was talking about.
Tea4Me is currently Soskimo.
The potty guy might have been the old EE, I can't remember. He got mad when I asked how much of his job does he get done in-between spying on co-workers.

Damn, it seems I miss all the good ones. What was the deal behind the duct tape wedding, and the terri threads? Terri was/is the past version of doxie. There are uncanny similarities between the two. A boy toy husband younger than her, comes from a non-US country, a girl child from a previous relationship, a toddler with current DH/boytoy, money issues, absolute refusal to believe enything is wrong with their lives, a car that is more important than life itself, both are based in Maryland etc. (I still believe that doxie is Terri incarnate here ) Terri posted on old YM about her life and money issues. You didn't miss much there. Ifyou have read any of the doxie threads then you pretty much are up to date on Terri ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png) Duct tape wedding dres....O.M.G. that was as hilarious as it could get. A wedding dress fashined with duct tape .......imagine the hilarious turn it took. Terri and Doxie are not the same person. I was on MSN at that time under a different name and for awhile she was sending me email updates. I probably still have her email address. I think I stopped responding to her during my divorce and she stopped sending me emails. Your actually quoting my story as hers, clearly you have a lapse of memory.

Thank you!
