I also got 3 lb. bags of "Cuties" for $1.99/ea.
I had purchased some Princella yams a while back for $.50/ea. and saw the exact same cans (same size, same expiration date -11/13) for $1.59. I didn't realize that they might actually raise the price on some items, but I guess they do. Good thing I grabbed (10) cans!!
Oh, and don't forget the additional 5% discount I got today for being a "senior citizen".
My Grocery Outlet gives the senior discount the third Thursday before 11 a.m.. It's $3 off $15 purchase. Needless to say, I've never gotten it. Who can remember what Thursday it is? This is one of the first week's in a LONG time that I really wish I could use Ups the same day, cuz I'm making multiple trips, but, at least it's right by work and on my travel route to and from. I had $4 Ups on Monday that I turned into $12 with little OOP, then turned that $12 into $13 today, again with little OOP. I still want/need to make one more trip for a few items that I need that aren't as profitable, but a good price, especially after rolling these MM deals all week. So, what did you buy and how did you roll? The devil's in the details and I just may copy it!

If you have registered your email with RA diabetes newsletter, there is a $10 RAQ for the Contour EZ Next Meter in today's email. It is $9.99 all month with a $5 UP, limit two. There is also a $10 RA coupon in the Flu Book and current Diabetes Book and there was a $5 MC in the 1/6 (?), so you can attempt overage (but I don't). Anyhoo, two free $5 UPs per card.

murphath- let me think...some of the Q's are NLA so you would've had to have them printed already. Zyrtec, 5.99, giving 5 Ups and I had a $3/1 tear pad that I've had forever, got it from a dr. office Edge and Skintimate was giving a $2 Up, limit 4. There were BOGO IP's for both (NLA- glad I printed them, figured they's come in handy), as well as $1/1 Edge MC and .55/1 Skintimate. Prices were regular price, but I have the 20% discount which made them a decent MM. Sinful clearance nail polish was .99 and giving $3 Up wyb 3 Colgate was ringing up 3.19 with gold, used $1/2 MC and got $3 Up, limit 4 Candy (Mars bags) was a good deal with MC and VV, 2.99 with 1 Up
Those are the main things that were free/MM.

Misspt: Thanks for the heads up about the contour meter coupon. I wouldn't have opened my email had you not said there was a coupon included. Do you know if the meters count for the anniversary UPs?

Like saveinla said, they don't count for anything except the monthly $5 Up (L2). Also, the coupon will beep as the meter is $9.99 and the coupon is $10. They can price modify the meter up via raincheck (which doesn't require manager intervention) or price modify the coupon down to 9.99, depending on the method, it might require manager approval.....

I got my $5 Target GC in the mail yesterday from the Aveeno/Allure rebate . I think it was dancin' that posted about it, so, thank you! It was pretty close to the cut off, but since I'm pretty close to NYC, I took the chance and mailed it and I got it! I hardly do any rebates anymore, so, that was nice! CVS: there is a $3/1 Poise CVS coupon on their website, which can be paired with $3/1 MC in recent inserts. Should be free/MM. I'm going to check prices today when I go finish the coke deal.

Mine had (5) days to get there. My concern was that they might run out cuz the rebate stated "while supplies last". I thought it was worth the gamble of a stamp. You can't beat getting a gift card for buying free/cheap lotion!! I haven't checked the mail in a couple of days; mine might be sitting out there waiting for me!!

I'm getting a little concerned about marvholly. Usually, she checks in fairly regularly and we haven't heard from her in a while.

973BeachBum -- The Dollar Days ad is up on livingrichwithcoupons.com ... I just gave it a glance so who knows if it will work out to anything good yet. Let me know what you think!

I bought one yesterday because I was mailed a couple of random CVS coupons for poise products (clearly this is something I would need at age 27) I got $1.01 overage toward my l'oreal nail purchase. I'm debating doing the l'oreal skin care deal next week. It's $10 EB on a $30 purchase (plus it would put me over $50 for beauty club), and there's a $10 rebate on a $30 purchase of revitalift/youth code/age perfect. I'll have to see what kind of deal I can work out...there are a lot of l'oreal coupons available. I got my $5 target GC from allure yesterday too. I couldn't even remember what I sent off, but I knew it must have been someone on here who mentioned it

Thruthfully it seems so so to me. Most of the "good" coupons seem to be gone or are in the RP which I only get one of. I saw the Pompian which I will try because I love their cooking wine but other than that I will probably only do the Smart Source milk cat. It is two weeks though, so who knows if something will come up for the second week that is a screaming deal.

Dancin: Thanks again for mentioning the Target giftcard rebate for Aveeno. I almost threw it away today thinking it was junk mail. So glad I didn't.

Actually, I think it was constanz that mentioned that she received hers. I'm so glad that a lot of the Grocery Challengers were able to get in on that deal. I knew that a lot of us were buying Aveeno like crazy at CVS, so it was kind of a no-brainer if Allure still had the cards available.

I think you were the one that alerted us to the deal a while back. I sent mine out at the last minute, but like you said, it would only be the loss of a stamp if it didn't work. We don't have Target around here but when DH and I go on one of our little weekend trips, we pass by one so I will hold on and use it then.

Well, we are over halfway through the month, and I've spent less than $45 dollars, and it includes eating out twice. I am still trying to eat out of the freezer, and pantry. My goal was no more than $65 spent on groceries this month . I hope I can make it.

I'm glad that several Grocery Challengers were able to take advantage of it even though it was totally last minute. I keep all my receipts in a drawer "just in case" something like that should pop up. I have a Target, but I only did two deals there in 2012 cuz I only do the straight freebies that don't require auto-deduct or trying to get overage since those are YMMV. Anyway on your next little weekend trip, HAPPY SPENDING!!

Actually, I just noticed in my ad that the Conair deal is different. Here it's SPEND $8 and get a $4EB (Limit 1). It excludes clearance items, but we all know that that is not always the case; but still, I didn't spend $8. I don't even have this deal in my ad and the ECB printed . It has been reported that the curling irons are on sale for $2.xx and ECB is working......limit of 2. I didn't see any curling irons at my store that were on clearance so I just went with the rollers. When I got home and opened the package...... there was HAIR wrapped around all the rollers . Nearly lost my lunch, because I am a germ freak!!! These are definitely going back . I guess you weren't the only one to return them. Gross!

Sprouts this week... 2 Cascadian Farms organic cereal and granola bars $2.50 - $.75 IP = $1.75 ea. + 20 Swagbucks, reg. $3.99+ 2 Think Thin Divine bar $1.39 - store IP for a free bar = FREE, reg. $1.39 2 Rudi's organic whole wheat bread $3.99 - $.75 MC IP and $1 store IP = $2.25, reg $3.99+ 3 Westsoy soymilk made with organic soy $.99 clearance sale - $1 IP = FREE 1 Westsoy soymilk made with organic soy $1.69 sale - $1 IP = $.69 6 Koyo ramen organic noodles, no MSG or preservatives, $.50 clearance sale, reg. $1+
Saved over 50%.
The clearance bin now has Arrowhead Mills organic flour in it. I think there are some IPs so I'll go back for some of those if I can print them. They're marked down to $2 for the small ones and $2.50 for the 4 lb. bag. I'll also pick up another Rudi's bread and Think Thin bar next week. Probably some Cascadian Farms too. The ramen noodles were really good. I'll grab more of those if they still have them.

I have not posted because I didn't want to be a downer. My Dad was transferred back to the hospital (4th time in less than 4 weeks) from rehab 2/12, late afternoon. There were again MANY health issues, several getting MUCH worse than before. Brother & I came to the conclusion it was time for hospice care. He passed away Tue evening. Funeral was Thur (DD2's bday-she wanted it that way). We had meetings w/the funeral home & rabbi on Wed and then were hoime to received condolances from friends & family the rest of Thur & Fri. At this point I am TOTALLY knocked out but I NEED to replace my microwave ASAP. It went kaput on Wed.

I tried to pick up the .99 kleenex at staples today, but they were out. Apparently they don't do rain checks, kind of irritating I spent my target GC. I was debating trying to roll it, but I needed new brush heads for my toothbrush. Of course, the trip to get brush heads turned into getting a shirt and a jacket as well, but at least they were 70% off.
