I'm tired of work and stress and so tonight I am planning my next vacations. Where are you going? I think we will go to Whistler BC to ski in December. Maybe Palm Springs in April And road trip to the Southwest canyon lands next September.

October 19th. We are going to Pisa, Italy. We will explore other towns/villages in that area. We will only be gone for 4 days....I wish I had longer.

No more vacations for us this year.
Summer 2013 we are going down south.
If our finances allow us, we'll go to Maine in 2014. We're from the midwest and we'll drive through Canada and go to Montreal and Quebec.
In summer of 2017 we're taking the kids to Europe for a month or so. We've been saving for this for the past two years already.
After that, we'll probably do one 2-3 week trip out west before my oldest goes to college. Any vacations after that will be taken to the western side of the US.

Blech, since we're getting married next September, our only trip in 2013 will be df's annual family trip to Avalon, nj. In 2014, we're getting my.Dad's timeshare and Im hoping to use it to go to.Hawaii.
We are doing a night in Philly in January at the new Hotel Monaco because i got a screaming deal on a suite. Obviously that's not a real trip since i work in Philly. It will be a "say good-bye to fun money for the.rest of the Year because you had to ask me to marr you" night.

I think I'm headed back to Knoxville Thanksgiving weekend. Doing the Army/Navy game in Philly in December. Maybe I'll go somewhere warm for a bowl game In late May, I might be going to Alaska. In July I'm doing somewhere in the Caribbean. 2014 will be a year of many vacations. Atlanta, Austin/Houston and Alabama beaches and New Orleans.

Just yesterday I bought 2 airline tickets to Ft Lauderdale for Feb 2013, a long weekend to escape the northeast winter blahs. Prices are great right now!

I'm hoping to do a short trip to the other coast eventually, but the next big trip I'm hoping will be a month in Europe with DS before his senior year. I want him to do some of the planning, but I'm really going he can relax enough to have some things completely unplanned (like just going somewhere and getting a room when we get there)

In 9 days I will be lying on a mexican beach, cocktail in hand!!! Woo-hoo!
Doing weekend in DC in November with some friends/in-laws to eat oysters and listen to blues apparently. I was not in charge of this event.
I'd love to get away in February, but I don't have anything planned yet. Suggestions? Just a couple days, someplace warm and preferably cheap.

Done for this year, but:
Toronto next spring to visit relatives.
Hopefully, another short trip to NYC in 2014 (I want to take my niece there when she graduates middle school; she's always wanted to go.)

Cuba, probably in February. Well, now I know you're not in the United States. Us freedom loving Americans aren't allowed to go there. haha, I can (but I have to transfer outside the US first)next up for me is a trip to the Tampa area to see a friend that's got a terminal cancer diagnosis. I hope it's not my last visit, but that's outside all our control. after that, I don't think I have anything planned until my cruise at the end of Feb. that leaves out of Miami.

St. Croix in December for a wedding. I cannot wait. I'm staying right on the beach, and I already have a favorite chair from last year. So peaceful...

Panama City Beach in November to watch my mom (yes, MOM) finish her first ironman triathlon. Orange County in January to see my best friend and escape Chicago winter for a few days. Potentially Hawaii in the spring. Potentially another vacation if my family does one - my parents usually fund a big vacation about every 2 years, so we will see.

DH is itching to go to Disney. I'm afraid he's going to book a trip for December.

Cuba, probably in February. Well, now I know you're not in the United States. Us freedom loving Americans aren't allowed to go there. I know people who have gone 7 or 8 times. They LOVE it there. Gorgeous beaches, beautiful architecture, friendly people, wonderful cumbia music, cars from the 50s, very, very safe....what's not to like? Not to mention cheap, cheap, cheap.
