Um, if you watched DWTS and saw William Levy shaking his hips, you wouldn't need to ask how that is helpful!! 1- what does DWTS mean? and 2- who is William Levy? BRB - going to you tube!

I think you just need to keep at it. Eat right, drink water, exercise, and just keep it going.

I prefer (when I DO watch reality shows) is to watch something that has real substance - not crazed momma's and spoiled little kids dressed up like Barbie-dolls (or hookers) - the newest one that's sort-of caught my interest is Hotel Impossible (Travel Channel). I'd rather watch shows like "Extreme Makeover - Home Edition" where they help deserving families/injured war vets, etc. rebuild their homes and fit them with equipment for rehabiliation, or families with special needs children to provide homes with the things to make their lives more accessible to normalcy - families and also communities who've lost everything (including family members) due to fires or other natural disasters. Most of the other shows (like T&T) is just trash and a waste of air-space, IMO.

thinking I should Netflix season one of the biggest loser? Just to see / understand what they did I've watched a season of The Biggest Loser USA. It was interesting and a form of entertainment at the same time. You do see real good results but Jesus! Too much hard work in losing weight.

I watched a couple of episodes, Roselia. It bothered me to see the trainers screaming and yelling at those poor souls. I do know they were doing it to save lives, but it still bothered me.

Bob is fit though (so he's excused ;D) but the other woman Jillian is quite mean, Elf Lady. I think it's quite a military training...pressure of being evicted and boy...how some contestant play games just to stay.

Oh yes. Just like the other shows like Survivor. I guess that's part of it, tho. To be better at playing the game.

OH Shooby!!! did you see the news tonight? Storage Wars and House Hunters. Storage Wars is possibly preset up with say unique finds and ONE episode of House Hunters the couple had already purchased their home. The couple went to their friends asking if they would show their home to pretend like they were for sale.
ok wait brb - I have DVR that doesn't make since about House Hunters?

House Hunters producers knew she and her husband purchased their home on a recent episode back in 2006
then they interview the wife - she said - finally the producer said do whatever. so we went to our very closest and kindest friends for them to show their homes as pretend decision making houses.
but why have pretend houses and not look at houses actually on the market? guess I would have to watch this show to understand

the reason the news showed this story last night was because a cast member of Storage Wars was fired. so now he is suing A&E. and making statements the show is fixed. They go into the garages and put valuable shit in them to create a audience. IMO - it worked because the show has created people to come out and start looking for themselves in hopes of finding treasure!
I didn't get into the show Storage Wars because how many storage garages people actually default on? Plus when they hit a good find and the really good finds, I'm to believe someone actually let that shit go or forgot it was in the garage, and defaulted on payments?

Yes, some people put their belongings into storage lockers for various reasons - for example, they're getting evicted for non-payment of rent and need to put their furniture and other valuables into storage while they try to find other accomodation. They sign a contract for the rent on the storage facility. Then if the person cannot make payments on the storage fees, their possessions become the property of the company renting them the space. They then have the right to auction off those possessions to recoup their losses on non-payment. Any profit they receive from the sale is theirs. And the people going to those storage locker sales/auctions are looking for a good deal on a "hidden treasure" or item they can get for a price lower than retail, or that they can turn around and sell for a profit of what they paid for it.
It's called free-enterprise.

My grandmother dabbles in auctions and storage containers from time to time, or used too anyway before her age started catching up with her. In her case she's a hoarder so a lot of it ended up squirreled away on her property, but she would hit some cool finds from time to time and resell them for a profit. Keep in mind that some people storing stuff will pass away and they get behind on their payments before the heirs can clean out the locker. I also figure quite a few people probably don't have wills so the heirs might not even know about the locker. Add in folks that are in and out of prison or rehab, and I can see some tucked away valuables being let go.
From the outside it seems crazy for somebody to not pay their $50 a month or whatever when they had thousands of dollars worth of stuff in the locker, but the world isn't a perfect place.

Dark you are one judgmental asshole! - ;D well from one ass to another I see your point now that you have mentioned it. that is exactly what happened to my last guy friend. he ended up putting furniture and clothes into a storage place and after three maybe four months still didn't have anywhere to put his shit, he stopped paying. well said cause I was thinking that until you explained - Thanks ;D

OH - which reminds me! the show auctioning lost luggage! I watched that show a few episodes and was fascinated! people go to these luggage auctions and not allowed to see what is inside the luggage, but they can walk around and look at the various sizes and mark down which numbers they wanted to bid on. PLUS they had these bags of jewelry people could not open but they could pick the bag up - clear bag and try to see what is inside the bag and how high they wanted to bid. now lost luggage is a concept I can wrap my head around because people losing their luggage with rare coins, and thousands of dollars of gold chains, rare comic books or baseball cards, and actual thousands or actual hundreds of American CASH! - well your shit is lost what can I tell ya! Plus I think after luggage is lost for 5 or 6 months and no claims it goes up for auction. the alarming thing about this show is the consistent amount of lost luggage there is! so if I was a customer and they lost my luggage and I know I had $700 or $800 bucks in my bag or my GF diamond ring I just purchased for $5k, and my bag went missing! I would call everyday looking! and all the airline would or could say is nope not found, sorry! then as time passes 3, 4, 5 months later still not found for what ever reason not found - I'm the dumbass for putting that valuable stuff in my luggage? then it's off to the auction! AND better yet an auction that could be anywhere! my stuff could be auctioned outside of this country! so there is no way I could get it back!
