Unfortuantely that probably doesn't work right either. It doesn't track dividends as it is supposed to.
And I have never seen an interest payment - even though it is supposed to track that also.
If we do another LTG - It is my suggestion that we move the game from the VSE to the Investopedia Stock Simulator.
The ISS does actually track Dividends and it does record Interest - at least it has during the "test" period I have been running with it over the last 3 months.

DI, you may not notice the interest payments but I have been without anything in my portfolio a couple of times & I've seen the numbers go up. So it has been being added to my account at least.
And there are days when everything is negative and I still have a plus in my daily gains.

One week later, and we would have been 15-20% up right now with all our hard work wyxz..  This has been great, thanks again DI! Since this is a competition, I'm thinking that CP needs to be sold soon, same with XOM.. Could be more in them, but I'm going for 15-20%....  |

Anyone besides me having trouble with the game today? I can't get it to take my sell order. When I go into pending it says all orders have been completed.

Sure guys. That recipe made more than it said it would... It is an OLD recipe for Ranger Cookies but I modified it a bit, said it would make 60 cookies...I got more than 100!!!!!!!!  Besides sugar, butter & eggs...it has 2 kinds of granola, cranraisins, coconut & nuts (both pecans & walnuts)...oh and flour. They are crispy on the edges & chewy in the middle...pretty yummy! After a couple of minutes of thinking about it....I had to come back & say... Uncle, yes you may! You made me think about my english language...living in the south tends to make me forget proper english. I was taught better in the northern schools. |

LOL @ Ty...  I have to agree wxyz.. I was happy with my picks long term, but I made a few adjustments to see if I could catch up.. SU if trading at a forward p/e of around 9. There are a couple of new pipelines that are going to open soon that will effect earnings positively and it's one of the last oil companies to have a run from higher oil over the last few quarters because of their "issues" in Libya. With earnings showing things are fine I'm thinking that SU is a $45-$48 stock. Made my bet on NOK going to $8 and going to pick up some PEP and GE here on the dip. Great ISM number today in the USA, with good job numbers on the way, and China signaling they are going to open the consumer floodgates and start to move to a democratic system. This makes a good recipe for the stealth rally in earnings to continue. |
