Sometimes I wonder if Virgil is kidding around. We are at the dawn of an energy and automated manufacturing boom unlike anything the world has seen. We still have a few bumpy years ahead of us but after that look out!!  The energy boom will go bust at some point and what about all the people who'll lose their jobs due to automation, not only in manufacturing, but in all areas of human existence? Technology will not save us. |

I don't know how these numbers got attributed to anyone other than you, as these are the numbers YOU have determined constituted a plunge. Yes, agreed, gold has not dropped as anticipated, but neither has it returned to last years levels. Gold has fluctuated dramatically over the last two years, and history shows that as an investment, it doesn't compare to the markets. Of course, fools like you really believe that stocks are worthless "paper". Whatever. You definitely need some new material Decoy. Better if you stay on your threads so that you don't get beaten like a rented mule here.
