That is why I ALWAYS focus on OOP, because when all is said and done that is what really matters the most if you are trying to reduce your grocery/household budget to free up money for other purposes. I've actually been tracking a number of things since 2012 for RA. One of the things I track is my cash OOP and I see what I've spent on average, per transaction. It's an interesting analysis, and it helps me to be careful about how I put together my transactions. leanna: I've been doing that with all the transactions that I've been doing at RA since I did the Home Improvement gift card deal. All the OOP for sales tax alone adds up pretty quickly which is the majority of what I've paid so far there. When I run out of UPs, I might post the list of what I got and how much I paid in OOP. I have (2) $6 UPs left and $3 that they sent to my Wellness card for "returning to RA".

Hitting CVS early, before the Nivea glitch was found & fixed WORKED. Another gal & I shared the 4 small tins on the shelf, which I had scouted to find. They were in different places than the shelf labels and of course, no tags. She did say thank you to me for finding & sharing.
I like CVS because I have one walking distance and 2 more on my way to see my Dad so no extra driving expense for me. I DO have about 5 WAG on the same travel route but 9/10 times if I do not go on Sun the store is OOS so it would be an extra drive/trip and rainchecks do NOT give RR.

It was awesome that you tracked them down and then shared them with someone else.

WAGs SHOPPER ALERT
It is being reported that 3-pks of Ivory Soap are on sale at WAGs for $.99 which makes them free after the $1/1 Ivory coupon in the 7/1 P&G. You have to have the coupon adjusted down by $.01.

SELECTING MORE THAN ONE MILLION FANS CVS IP - DEAD DEALFROM frugalsuz: "Be sure to print your CVS facebook coupons: $3 off $15 health care items, $3 off $15 beauty (goes great with the Physician's Formula sale and gas card promo!), $2 off candy or beverages and free 5x7 photo. You have to enter in your CVS card # and email address and then choose a coupon. But if you go back and do it again, you can select another coupon. www.iheartcvs.com/2012/07/million-fans-facebook-coupons.html " It looks like selecting and printing more than one was a glitch. They have fixed the program and only one selection is allowed now. ETA: People are having problems with these at the register. When they are scanned the register is indicating that they have already been used, so be prepared.

Thanks for the CVS first aid tip! My store was out of Cortaid and let me substitute a CVS brand instead. Would have totally missed that EB deal if you hadn't pointed it out! ;D Just a quick update on this deal ($3 EB when you buy $7 worth of CVS first aid items). Its a three day sale, so good through tomorrow/Tuesday. The cheapest item I could find today was CVS bandages for $2.67. They counted towards the deal, but I only got a $2 EB instead of $3 EB. My receipt and the store tags say $3, so I would have had a great case for an adjustment EB to be printed...if I'd seen it before I'd left the store. So watch your receipt if you do this deal. My shelf tags said $2 so I didn't bother. I subbed the CVS brand Cortaid so they wouldn't let me use the MC with it.

I decided to finish out the gas card deal on my one card today as I had 6.50 towards it from the Pantene already. I got 1 Tide, 1 Bounty, 2 Cover Girl, and 1 Dawn. I checked out and was .03 stinking cents short of the 24.90 needed for it to print! ARGH! I hate that! I just added another Dawn cuz I didn't have time to mess around finding something. Oh well...they didn't have any more CVS cards (whatever) and I didn't want the gas card so will get a cvs card next time I'm there...

I decided to go back to CVS and check it out. When I was there on Sunday, they did not have the tags up on the shelf. But, they were there yesterday. They did say $2.00 EB. I did grab the bandaids (can't have too many in our house ) and sure enough, only $2.00 EB's printed. There was no line, so, I asked. My favorite cashier was working. She looked at the receipt to make sure it was a current deal, and said: "How Rude is that?" and handed over the additional $1.00 EB. ;D I do pay attention to OOP, and I consider EB's as if they were my "change" from the transaction. Granted, I can only spend that change in one place, but if I was shorted cash money, I would be asking for it. I would suggest asking them for an adjustment. I did ask what the policy was, and she said when she started there, that the receipt rules. ETA: Frugalsuz, OMG girl! I just looked at your blog. I only shop in one state. Yikes!! Karma and good luck!!

So far I have only 2 items I want at Albertsons (caught on blogs, not seen ad yet). I wonder IF Safeway will match either (NOTE: this grocery ad & matches starts on Thur). NOT had much luck w/matches the past few weeks.
I KNOW the price of crude is up but as of Tue my local stations were all up 0.10-0.15 a gallon. Wonder if it’s the crude or get-em on a holiday, like the weekend price increases I am seeing. NO skin off my nose as I tanked at DD1 on Sat.
I bought an eggplant Tue w/plans to make babaganoush BUT NO way will I turn the oven on for the next several days at least.
I figure I will check out the WAG card program when it hits (especially the terms, conditions & assorted hang-ups) mostly because we are getting a new GIANT store ½ mile from me.
Dancin Thanks. I wondered where some new Karma hits came from.
Twinmama I have a LOT of experience re: diabetes & high sugar counts (my Dad & late DH). Sometimes if it is not a diet & activity issue causing the high reads it is an undetected infection of some sort. Have they checked her white blood count?

Checked out all my special deals/matches at Safeway. They only matched 1 of 2 items I want at Albertsons and I only want (maybe) one other item. If I didn’t want to check out their meat clearance & I pass the store 2x/week I would prob NOT bother going.
Methinks Kohl’s might be in $$ trouble. For the last several weeks I have gotten a daily email offering a % off my purchases. None have been good enough to make me shop.
