Patio, thanks for the updates. You are doing the right thing listening to your body. Chemo, and especially when the steroids wear off, makes you tired. Rest, and have a great weekend.

The hardest thing for me to learn how to do this last year was to rest when my body said rest. there is always something that needs done. But I also learned it will still be there after a nap.
Rest when you need it. It's the BEST thing you can do for yourself.

"Each day is one more day towards my being whole." Words are powerful to heal and to sooth the soul.. |

Wednesday went to the nurse/doctor, just for checkup and bloodwork. Bloodwork came back ok. I also had them remover the button stiches that were there with the feeding tube, oh that feels better. I am not as tired now, getting back to "normal". I actually ate chinese food wednesday night and i had 2 potato skins and a slice of turkey roast. It stayed down and didnt hurt. I also got up to 5 cans of stuff today. I still have my hair.
My next chemo treatment is the 28th fingers crossed that i feel as good as i did last treatment.
Not sure if i mentioned it but i have to give my mother hugs, because she found out last week or so ago that my little sister might have bone cancer, they have been running some tests and they see stuff and they dont see stuff they should. I knew they were testing her before i found out about mine, but she didnt want anything said to mom. Then mom gets my news and a few weeks after that she has to deal with hearing my little sister has it, i know she crys in her room. I feel sorry for my sister as she is 6 hours away so none of us have been able to go with her to her doctor appointments.
