mmhmm ~ I seen Rene's nic not that long ago on another Forum other than ProBoards that Shooby was also on. So ask Shooby what Forum she was on last summer in August. It was on Geek Table.

Geek Table, I think, Sugi. Last she posted there was 9 days ago. I don't want to post the contents of her post here, as I feel it's hers, not mine, even though it's on the internet. I'm not close to her, so just don't feel right about it. Perhaps someone who is close could fill us in. I just wish she'd post for herself, but that might not be possible. There's no way we can know.  |

Pati's next appointment with the oncologist is for June 18. Please, keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She seems to be tolerating this latest round of chemo pretty well.

If you get a chance, please stop by renegadepatio's Caring Bridge page (link in Reply #429) and drop her a line on the guestbook. I know she'd love to hear from her friends here. So far, the chemo is not stopping the growth of her cancer, I'm afraid. There's another course of chemo treatment she may be able to try, if her oncologist feels she can tolerate it. She'll see the oncologist on the 28th of this month. She needs our support in her continued fight.

Me too babe.
My mom passed at 53 due to cancer, it steeled me for anything else. The meds these days I hope will keep Patty cognitive and with her family until she is ready to go.

Today, Patty sees her oncologist. A decision is to be made as to whether she will be given another round (over three months) of a different kind of chemotherapy, or whether it's time to call hospice in. It will depend, I understand, on whether the doctor thinks she'll be able to tolerate the treatment and whether the treatment might be beneficial to her. Please, keep Patty and her family in your thoughts and prayers. |
