update
I have to go in on monday again for a biopsy, the last one "was inconclusive" how the heck is it inconclusive, he stuck me 5 or 6 times to pull out cells for the biopsy. Oh well one more chemo on thursday and then i am done with chemo. then i think we start radiation. (yeah me) wonder if my hair will start growing back when i am done with chemo.

again thank you all for your support on this thread i so enjoy coming back to read all the new and old postings, you guys really, i mean really do make my day. Hugs to you all

Hope you're feeling decent, Rene. I think you said yesterday was your last chemo treatment, so today might not be the best day of the week. Will be looking forward to the news from the biopsy on Monday. In the meantime, treat yourself well and get lots of rest. Thinking of you all the time.

ok where to begin, ok biopsy that i had to redo showed that the node was dead, no cancer left in it. I have done my last chemo on thursday, i can only do 6 and that was it. The doctor thought chemo did a great job on my cancer. It hasnt moved to any other organs and chemo has wiped out the majority of it. They are now done with me except for me to go in every 3 month for blood work to watch my cancer markers.

So the next step is to do radiation on tumor that left in my esophogus/stomach. I think i go there in 6 weeks so i will be getting a break from all treatments for a bit. that will be good. I lost 5 lbs again from 3 weeks ago, that is not good. I hope to gain that back and some more over the next 6 weeks. i forgot to ask when we are going to pull the feeding tube but i can do that the next time i see him.

Overall i believe it is all good news and that it great that the chemo is killing my cancer, perhaps i will be around to see that little grandson of mine grow up.

Thank you all for your well wishes, prayers and good thoughts i so needed them and liked them.

tada all is getting good, i didnt have to do that last shot, i hope i feel so much better without it.

i have not decided what to do with hair yet when it starts to grow back i will decide after i see what color it is and if it comes back curly again. oh i hope it does, i have no idea what i would do with straight hair.

I went to college with a girl whose hair grew back VERY CURLY after she finished her treatments. When her hair was short, she could've passed as Shirley Temple. It was VERY cute!
