mine is still AWOL on this page. The one I see elsewhere is still "loading" but not actually doing anything,.

I now see it, but it's just 'loading' ,.. editing to add that it is here about every other page load.. when i replied, it was gone. when i edited, it was back.

It actually had to do with quotation marks being in one of the thread titles.
I'm very careful to make sure that none of my hacks open up users to code injection attacks—which is a fancy way of saying that I'm careful to ensure potentially malicious third parties can't run scripts on our machines.
If we're not careful, they could access our passwords, for instance. And the way most Proboards hacks are coded, an attacker could gain admin access to 60% of pro-boards with relative ease.
However, the safeguards were damaging the data while they ensured it was safe to process. And for reasons I won't get into, the problem only occurred when the quotation mark was present.

Definition: A computer script is a list of commands that are executed by a certain program or scripting engine. Scripts may be used to automate processes on a local computer or to generate Web pages on the Web. |

It actually had to do with quotation marks being in one of the thread titles. I wondered if it was my thread virgil. i noticed the commonality of it between Sugi and I.. i know you've fixed it, but i will removed the quotes from the title anyway. |

*lol* There's no need to, Moon. Quotation marks are perfectly safe in normal contexts. I've doing something evil (programming-wise ) called "using the 'eval' function". It is both extremely useful and extremely dangerous from a code injection standpoint. Many coding standards forbid its use. |
