What kind of question is that? What is the "point" of any kids? Aside from the top of their little heads right after they come out? I assume the point is that they are wanted. Wanted but no means to care for them?  What kind of person has kids they can't care for? I'm not sure that all of their family and extended family is destitute and putting their kids in jeopardy. And I think there's a difference between calling someone an irresponsible parent and calling kids pointless. |

That's a hunka chunka change. I think Mich is on target when she mentions the $100K amount. Dang, if I had those kind of loans, and family offered to pay them off in exchange for babies, I'd consider popping them out assembly-line fashion.  |

nancy, if she'd gone to the school her mom wanted her to go to, she wouldn't have ANY loans. She opted for the college her cousins were attending because she wanted to. And I agree it's a chunka change and my recollection is that it's $100K although they're been working on them so it may be slightly under that now.
