LOL! I was just talking to a friend the other day about our upcoming mid-life crisis. I told him I already had my Tesla Roadster picked out. He's going for a Harley with all the upgrades. Both of our daughters are the same age, so we've got a decade to wait for our toys though.  |

If I were to get a Tesla Model X www.teslamotors.com/modelx that wouldn't be a mid-life crisis though, right- that would be a fabulous soccer mom car that's environmentally responsible. They say it will be priced similarly to a similarly equipped Model S, which means it will start at around $70k. That's not too bad right- only about $25k more than the VW TDI Toureg that would be my second choice... |

I did buy a red convertible at age 50.
But it was more of an empty nest car (only 2 seats) than a mid life crisis.
