Firebird - Sorry for the delay about answering your question. Have been busy for the past couple of days. No, I don't want a spoiler alert for the Dollanganger series unless it won't effect ruining any of the story lines for all the books after book 1 lol. If it won't ruin any of the story going forward for me, then I'd definitely be interested in hearing what they talked about in book 1 that they didn't show in the movie.I won't tell you, then It wouldn't ruin it per se, but it would take some of the shock value out of some of the revelations in later books.

I'm on chapter 27. I was going to finish it at lunch today but I went out for lunch. I get the things my coworkers have been referring to now. Of course now it will be did you see the movie and are you done with #2, can't keep them happy Does anyone at your office have it Jen? I know two of my coworkers have it, I borrowed it from one of them.

They do have Kindle for PC. You can purchase books and DL them to your computer and the 2nd book is $7.70. If you're a Prime member it's free. I know it's not the same as holding the book. But...it's a way to get to read them without buying the book or a kindle or other e-reader.

Discussion Questions:
What do you think is the cruelest part of The Hunger Games?
Does the aspect of government control make you fearful of what the future might look like one day in real life?

I am pretty sure you have to be a prime member AND own an actual kindle to get it free. If I'm wrong someone explain it to me because I am a prime member & all the directions on checking out from the kindle library show doing it from an actual kindle (that has to be registered to the prime account). I couldn't figure out how to get it without owning a kindle.

I have Kindle for PC. I don't own a Kindle nor am I a prime member. I had a gift card that had $8 on it and I bought the kindle version and it's on my computer now. And I'm reading it now.
