Update: 16 NSDs 7 CSD
Had a few spend days recently -- nothing over the top but still spend days.
I have been trying to get all of the end of school planning done. Therefore I have worked on a series of projects, exams and study guides in the last few days. Also this is the time of year for band, chorus and drama organizations end of year performances and I need to show up at several of these,
Red -- glad to read that the babies are well
Honey and nuttin -- keeping your searches in my thoughts and prayers
mizbear -- is this the end of all the stuff that has to be moved anywhere?
SES -- will try to catch up with you when things calm done somewhat.
MK -- thinking of you and hope all is improving with your aunt.
3cats -- you are an amazing person and have accomplished so much in your years with us,
Start -- sound as if your business is really taking off
If I forgot anyone I'm sorry -- Til later,

update; 26/30 NSD, 26/30 NEO, $350 in savings for the month. I am doing tomorrow's numbers too because I am only going to the laundromat and no place else. Hope all of you are doing okay with everything that is going on.

money- Yes it does appear that way. I did not receive several things I was supposed to- but I will not have to answer for anything but not holding my temper. We did however find my Dale Jr jacket buried in a box of my DBs things and I managed to get my DGFs guitar I had been promised.

Rocky Mtn Saver: 10/30 NSD, 9/30 CSD (<$5). I don't know if I'll get one more CSD today to reach my total goal, but we'll see. I actually didn't fork over any real money yesterday -- between the few things I bought and the items I returned, I made $30. But I want to be accountable, so I'm ignoring the return credits. ;D I'm not sure how to call today a CSD if I do what I expect I will be doing... buying a used car! I passed it in town on Friday, although it's about months earlier than I'd planned to buy one. But it appears to meet/exceed all of my needs and is a great deal. It's well below my price range, and I can pay cash for it. So... we'll see what the mechanic says today. Oy, I hate making major purchases.

Well, it was a no-go on the car. My mechanic and my mechanic brother-in-law looked at it together and discussed it, and decided that there were too many potential mechanical problems. So, that saved me from making a mistake. Whew! I'm not actively car-shopping, so I'm not particularly disappointed. I guess I will get a CSD after all. ETA: This was why it was such a great price, I guess!

27/30 NSD
Did better than I thought I would. Pantry shopping seems to be paying off. I will spend tomorrow, but it is planned for and I have the cash. I am getting my quarterly hair cut. This Friday I have to go to Rapid City to see the dentist. I also need to take Calleigh to the vet soon and get an oil change for the car and we all will be ready for summer.

I told DM we are going for as many NSDs for May as possible. I want to shop out of the pantry as much as possible so that in June we can restock everything for her new diet.

Final Update: 20/20 NSDs
I barely made my goal, but I did it. I think increasing it by 5 in one month was a bit much.
Well, I turned 25 today. I don't say that because I'm fishing for happy birthdays (I detest my birthday). I only mention it because it has actually been one of the best birthdays ever. When I got to work I saw a permanent job that was posted this morning. It is pretty much custom made for exactly what I'm doing now (which is a little bit of everything). I also found out that everyone is rooting for me, and my boss's boss hinted that I have a really great shot at it. I didn't think he really knew anything about me, but obviously somebody must have talked me up to him. It was a great self-esteem booster. My DH and I have started some preliminary house hunting. We are qualifying for a mortgage based on his income alone, but I would still be a lot more comfortable with it if I had a permanent job. I love the place I'm currently temping for and really hope I can get a permanent position with them. The potentially negative aspect is if I don't get the job, then I am out of a job as soon as the new person starts. So I really need to get this job. lol
Honey- I read your post about your job search. I'm truly sorry it has been so difficult. I am very fortunate that I landed a temp job relatively quickly (out of sheer lucky timing, really) and that it might be turning into something permanent. I make peanuts, though, so I think that is part of why it was easier for me to find a job. There are way more low paying jobs available than mid- to high-paying jobs. Sending good juju your way that something will come up.
Start- I have been curious lately whether or not you are on track to make six figures this year from your business. I haven't asked because it might be too personal, and I don't blame you if you don't want to answer. I'm just curious if you're on track to meet your goal.
How about everyone else? Did you set a goal this year and are you on track to achieve it? Hmmm... maybe I should post that in May's thread.
Anyway, I will finish catching up after May gets started as I'm not sure if this will be read by many.

Rocky Mtn Saver: 10/30 NSD, 10/30 CSD (<$5). Well, in the absence of buying a car, I didn't spend much yesterday. Just lunch while the mechanic checked out the vehicle. Oh well, I got my CSD/NSD goals in by the skin of my chinnie-chin-chin. ;D
