I know someone on this board likes the World's Best Cat Litter. I printed two $3 Q's and would be happy to scan them to you. Just send me a message. Thanks.

I thought I was back to couponing a couple weeks ago, but my grandmother passed away and I had to go to Minnesota for her services. I'm trying to get caught up with my clipping and filing of my coupons. I did come home a stock up on the Scott's TP at CVS with the spend $30 get $10 because we were almost out of TP.
I've managed to get a couple bills paid off and finally qualified for a mortgage modification so I'm hoping to build all my stockpiles and go visit the savers thread so I can get my emergency fund back up.
I just wanted to thank you all for being here to give guidance and share coupons.

Constanz22: The Maxwell CRT q at CVS is for Maxwell International coffees. I think those are the flavored ones in the small cans.
Also, Myfrugaladventures dot com has the drugstore deals posted for the upcoming week.

twinmama, Check your Vons for starkist tuna tearpad Qs. They are right in front of the tuna pouches and don't expire until 5/20. The Qs are 0.75/2.

Hola, hounds. Long time, no post, but I try to follow along as much as possible. Not sure if anyone posted this deal at RA. hip2save.com/2012/03/01/rite-aid-cheap-aveeno-skincare-items/If you are a fan of Aveno products, then you’ll want to take note of this deal! This week only (through 3/3), you’ll snag a $5 +Up Reward when you purchase $15 worth of Aveeno Skin Care items which are on sale Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off. And to make this deal even sweeter, there is a monthly +Up Reward offer where you can also snag a $10 +Up Reward when you purchase $25 worth of select Skincare products (limit 1 offer per household!). Combine these 2 offers and you’ll have yourself a great deal!
Aveeno Skincare Deal Scenario:
Buy 2 Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizers $17.99 each Total After B1G1 50% Off Sale = $26.99 Use 2 $1/1 coupons from the 2/26 SS or found here Pay $24.99 Get a $5 +Up Reward when you buy $15 worth of Aveeno Skincare items (limit 2 offers) Get a $10 +Up Reward when you buy $25 worth of select skincare items through 3/6/12 (limit 1 offer) Final Cost $4.99 each (that’s 72% off the retail price)!
* Please note that if you already took advantage of the $10 +Up Reward when you purchase $25 worth of select Skincare items (it was highlighted it last month here), then you will not get a second $10 +Up Reward (it is limited to 1 offer per household).I did this on my lunch break and included a lotion (there's also an IP on the link she provides for $1/1) for 6.99. There were some lotions at my RA that were 5.99 and 3.99 (that put the total at 29.94 and I wasn't sure if the second UP would print), but if you spend $30, you get another $5 UP (for Aveeno products). I had $3 in coupons and a $5 UP, so ended up paying $25.22 + tax out of pocket and getting $20 total in UPs.

Thanks everyone! Grandma was 95 years old, suffering from Alzheimers and broke her hip a few months ago. I delight in knowing that all of my grandparents are now enjoying a better life in heaven.
I just went and signed up for the savers so hopefully I can get a start on that. My son's dental work had taken all my savings. If it weren't for my sister who bought my airline ticket with her frequent flier miles, I would not have been able to go to the funeral.

mandyms,
I did that deal - had a few Ups - so paid only tax and got back 20 Ups. We use the Aveeno products, so it's a great deal for me too. Thanks for pointing it out.

So question for next time. If I had bought the 3.99 lotion instead of the one for 6.99 and the total prior to coupons/taxes was 29.94, would I have still gotten the second UP? (needed $30)

Yoo-hoo Ruby & Meijer shoppers - are you out there? I just read that the Kraft CAT rolls at Meijer, so stock up on cheap/free Kraft products. The Philadelphia indulgence is a MM if you got the $1.50/1 Q from Kraft First taste or just with 5 x 75c Qs. I'm so excited. I'm heading to Meijer in a little while.
Pubbler: My sister and I just got back from a fantastic Meijer trip. Wow! For $14.43 OOP I bought these items: 8 Kraft shredded cheese 7 Philly Indulgances 3 Philly Cream Cheese 2 Parmesan cheese 5 Kraft Fresh Takes 2 lbs. carrots 1 lb. asparagus 1 loaf bread 1 Country crock margarine 2 pork loins 1 Glade Fresh Expression 20 Right Guard Total Defense 5 travel bodywashes That's $.27 an item, including the pork loins. I saved $80.09 in coupons, or 85% and have $8.00 in cats to spend the next time. The bodywashes are $.50 each on clearance--buy 4 and get a $4.00 catalina. There are also mperks for the Indulgance, cooking cream, Fresh take and Glade. I didn't know the cat rolled but I will definately be back for more. We were so low on cheese and it feels good to stock up. P8nt: Sorry to hear about your grandmother.

Also, sometimes I just get tired of running after the deals. Lose my mojo or something. Then I read frugalsuz' blog and get re-energized. That's what happened when she started outline the RA deals. |
Thanks murpath! ;D

FRUGALSUZ or anyone else with a Shoprite. The double dip is ON for Phila cream cheese and Nestle coffe mate!!! I actually screwed up and bought my Phila cream cheese today instead of tomorrow and on top of the DD cat I got a $3 Phila cat after I had paid for my order. ;D Ditto on the netles coffe mate, I got the DD cat as soon as the last item was rung and the Netles after I had paid. HTH! (doing a happy dance) Thanks for posting this 973beachbum! I just made a couple SR runs this morning so I'll have to work up the motivation to go back out tonight or tomorrow. I'm almost out of cream cheese so this deal is perfect!

p8nt - sorry to hear about your grandma.
ruby - AWESOME score! I only got 5 indulgence, 5 fresh take, 5 shredded cheese for $9.xx oop & got $8 CATS. Im still waiting on Qs that I ordered so I'll go back tonite. Even without Qs, the Kraft cheese is a good deal. I'm using the indulgence profit to help offset the cheese cost.
My store doesn't even have any Right Guard :-( I checked earlier this week. Someone prolly already cleared the shelf. Bummer. But so glad you could cash in on this deal. What a great profit!
Nescafe single packs are FREE at WAGS. I got 4 on Sunday & used the BOGOF qs. Got back $3 RR & $1/3 Q. I keep buying 4 coffees & keep getting the Q. So free coffee for me! Whoo-hoo. I did notice that the packs are now 6 count, not 7 count like before :-(

So question for next time. If I had bought the 3.99 lotion instead of the one for 6.99 and the total prior to coupons/taxes was 29.94, would I have still gotten the second UP? (needed $30) Yes, they round up from .50. So, 29.50 would qualify, 29.49 would not, HTH. This knowledge came in handy with the prevacid 14 ct deal last week. It was 9.59 (after Gold discount) and if you bought $30 you got a $10 +UP. With the VV and IPs it was .59 + tax OOP per box. If I had bought all three boxes in one transaction, I would not have received my +UP due to rounding. BUT using the rounding rule in my favor, I bought them one transaction at a time, and the RA tracking rounded it up to $10 per transaction and I got my UP after the third transaction. Just some food for thought....

Wow, I just read a link on consumer affairs.com regarding recent issues with Purina pet foods. I know there are a lot of pet lovers on this board and I know many of us recently purchased the Purina One with the $5 coupon that was out. I am throwing it all in the garbage.... ETA: there is a thread on HCW about it, which took me to the consumer affairs site.

Constanz22 I fed my cat Kitten Chow and Cat Chow from day one. She now has bladder crystals and is on prescription food for the rest of her life. My vet said she most likely got them from the Kitten Chow and Cat Chow. I will never feed my pet anything made by Purina again.

Every dog I've ever had has been raised on Purina puppy chow and dog chow. My dalmatian has a very touchy stomach so I'm not sure about changing her. Thanks for the info, I'm going to check into it.

I don't think I am going to coupon Sunday! I don't think this is a good week to skip buying papers for coupons (if that is what you mean vs. shopping w/coupons). There are 3 inserts: monthly P&G SS RP

I only get one set of coupons from the newspaper, but I noticed that there are a lot of high value coupons this week for Prevacid, Zyrtec, etc. If anyone wants them, I will gladly send them out, with anything else that I may not be using. I have an extra roll of stamps, and I'm not afraid to use them, LOL. ;D

So in my 1st trans I bought 5 soft Phila cream cheese for $12.50 minus a $4 cat and 2 $3 ones from the last trans, for a final OOP of $2.50. 2nd trans was 5 8oz bricks of Phila cream cheese for $12.95 minus the cats from 1st trans for a final OOP of $2.95 and I got $10 in cats from this trans for my next trans. They all had a exp date of at least July. Hope you have as much fun! ;D
