To put it another way: U.S. gains 304,000 jobs at start of 2019 as firms continue to hire at blistering paceHowever, more important is the fact that US companies continue to report decent earnings even as the rest of the world is dragging on growth. And now the roundup of the last couple posts: Yes, contrary to popular belief, President Trump has taken the worst recovery in post war history and expanded it into a broad based recovery for the entire economy. To think where the US would be had there not be eight years of an empty chair.

I have been waiting for an article just like the following to make a point. The best thing about waiting is the media is now admitting that the Economy was, in fact, doing much better under President Trump. The bigger point is that, while many were surprised and are still calling for a rate cut... The Trump economy is starting to look more and more like the Obama economy. Which drugged along. So, while it's now a negative that the economy is performing the same as it was under Obama, I think it's a positive. Why? The Asian Crisis, war and debt wall threads sum it up. Liquidity drying up from China to Europe, mid east settling down?? Ha...ECT, ECT. This is while tariffs are in place making companies scramble to find a new manufacturing base. If only a new multi billion dollar industry was developing in the heart land...
