EPA cutting the legs out from under coal. Ng is the only alternative to lower cost fuels.

This is why I like the end user plays - No matter which direction the political winds blow; its the consumer that will have to pay for it. ;D

We could trade it for Oil! ;D Mr V. Did you see this on Natural Gas?“Creative thinking is our great natural resource, not gas,” he wrote. “It is our obligation to guard it with utmost care.” Sever Plocker, an economic columnist for the newspaper Yediot Aharonot, Bi Metal Au Pt JERUSALEM — Exploratory drilling off Israel’s northern coast this week has confirmed the existence of a major natural gas field — one of the world’s largest offshore gas finds of the past decade — leading the country’s infrastructure minister to call it “the most important energy news since the founding of the state.” www.nytimes.com/2010/12/31/world/middleeast/31leviathan.html

Yes B, Nat gas is the future. I caught the end of Kudlow tonight Sunrnr, he had a geologists on. It's the second half of what your saying that he said was true. That the companies might be fudging the numbers on how much it costs to get it out of the ground. However, the geologists(worked in Nag gas for 20+ yrs) said make no mistake, it's down there. The consensus was that with Shell and Exxon behind these projects, you know there is money in it.

One of these days we will have the Tec to mine the bottom of the oceans for NG that is locked up in ice. There is huge deposits of that stuff down there.

Right as always Ty, and on that point, the panel on Kudlow was talking about the tech getting better for accessing shale deposits. Plus there is CO 2 injection. With more CH 4 power plants coming online in the future, and things like the NYC taxi fleet going CNG, the demand side is going to pick up in the coming years. www.afdc.energy.gov/afdc/laws/law/NY/5323 The biggest point, IMO, is still; Shell and Exxon are throwing their weight behind CH 4. Kinda like that giant floating LNG plant that Shell is building .

I agree with you and everyone's responses. It's mind-boggling what our "leaders" have chosen to do to us. It would be a big win for our economy and all our citizens!

It is all the way into Sask, and into Alberta! There is a geologist that here that has spend thirty years working on ways to get at it all. Basically, layers upon layers. There has also been a find around Nipawan Sask that is apparently the size of the current Athabasca deposit. Your right Ty, the bubble in domestic natural gas and oil production has only just started to inflate. Also, I know how good your picks are!

Yes, but all of that build up of infrastructure would be a big plus for JOBS that the Government wont have to pay for. All they have to do is GET OUT OF the WAY.

There's a huge amount of current leases not being developed by the whiners about how the Government is over taxing them and hindering them. Who's telling the truth? Sunrnr, The limiting element in the oil patch now is lack of experienced workers.. yes,, like the auto industry it is lack of skilled drillers, tool pushers, lead cracking chiefs and other highly tech workers.. now for lack of casing, drilling pipe, drill bits and rigs...Steel is being quoted for delivery in 12 months for less then used pipe today.. We call that Back-dation!!! Give it 18 months and it will be all over and price of oil will be about $70.00 .. again from the old MMVII model....Also NG is selling for about $4.00 MCF out here on the old contracts... Just a thought, Bi Metal Au Pt

How about finding a way to get all those out of work construction workers into oil/natgas jobs?? you need to open a steel mill $70 is still profitable for the oil companies. .
