Well it seems that at least some people are worried about the Mosque on the Temple Mounds future in Jerusalem during a "land swap", Abbas Warns Israel Over Al-Aqsa Mosque as he and Fatah accept Arab League land swap proposal. It's almost like the Palestinians want to guarantee that there will be some kind of disturbance at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the future though, why? Palestinians, Syrians form units to fight for Golan, Syria asserts right to enter Golan, occupied by Israel, Hamas Claims Success in Campaign to Target Collaborators, and Hezbollah says Syria will send it new weapons. But there's more... Turkey was recently attack and while out of one side of their face they are saying they are going to stay out of the fight, on the other side however, Turkey says world must act against Syria after bombings. Regardless of what Turkey wants to believe, the fact that they are harboring refugees and now are having to deal with violent spillovers, means that this conflict has officially spread into Turkey now. These continuing escalations around the region have Iran very edgy for their upcoming elections and they have began to Crack Down. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out, we know that late in 2012 the US removed the dissident group M.E.K off the terror list, Canada now backs using social media to boost Iran's dissident groups like the M.E.K., and 2 Presidential Candidates in Iran Draw Resentment. While what happens during the Iranian elections at this point is anyone's guess, one thing that is for sure, China has firmly planted themselves into the situation over the last week and now there is talk of the Symbiosis of China and Israel.

Well, the opium war was Pekings downfall 150 yrs ago or whatever. The last 30 yrs of a one child policy has created not only an old age problem but a huge bachelor problem. Bachelors with money have a higher percentage of a chance to spend it on things like drugs, and other shady pastimes(China is also the gambling capital of the world). Great point as usual BiMetal! At the same time though, I would say that it has a lot to do with their business interests in the area. We seen yesterday that their manufacturing sector is no longer going to sustain the growth that their economy needs and they need to create markets to make products for their growing service sector. The irony in that is of course if the USA wouldn't have accomplished what you guys did, the Chinese wouldn't have anywhere to build their business. That is why I feel that even thought there are a lot of cyber warfare stories out there, the reality of the situation is that the U.S. and China are deepening military ties. I tried to explain to DJpoledancer on P&M how the reconstruction of Afghanistan is helping to root the Taliban out, but the conversation turned into a circular logic one, and you know how I hate to waist time on circular logic. Just think not only has it help start to root it out in Afghanistan, Tunisia is going after their extremists now, Saudi Arabia is letting woman ride bikes and they are even talking about letting the ladies drive! What you guys have been doing in the Mid East has been working so well Iran has just made the statement that High voter turnout will foil US, Israel plots! Talk about a flop, Iran is literally a massive joke, the leader rail roading the elections is truly a testament to that. On that point, at least we know where the trillions of dollars that have been printed could be going to go eh? World Wide Marshall plan? Stay . Anyone that has been reading this thread will understand what this most likely means... Turkish police arrest suspected Iranian agent in Ankara protests... And only a mere week away from the Iranian elections. The reasons for China's need for stability in the region marks it's yearly anniversary, around 150,000 Tiananmen Protesters Mark Crackdown in Annual Hong Kong Vigil. In a cross over from the NO MATTER WHAT THE MARKETS will be up thread, all this social unrest in the East, mixed with a war in the Mid East that is spreading into a recession plagued Europe has brought earnings in a bit under what was initial reported for the first quarter... Stay .

The Ayatollah in Iran did all he could to try and control the outcome of the election, because they wanted to give the appearance of a fair process, they now have a moderate president. Just the fact that there was actually a stable election in Iran, had Iranian scholars going so far as to say that these elections are a turning point in human history. Watch this video and see just how excited these guys are about a new form of democracy emerging, or as they call it, a religious democracy. It's hilarious to see the lady giving the interview trying to sell the lie that politics and religion have been separated for most of hist.. the..er... Iranian revolution...(about the seven min mark). I do agree with them that this is a turning point in history though. At this point Iran is backed into a corner. They have been crippled economically and they are now supporting a proxy war in Syria through Hezbollah, further draining their reserves. Now that the US has agreed to send arms to Syria, this "conflict" is guaranteed to spread to Lebanon, ensuring that Iran has to pour more money into Hezbollah. Another sign that this is about to spread wide open is Egypt cutting ties with the Syrian government and multiple clerics calling on Sunni fighters from all regions to go into Syria to fight the war. I had mentioned earlier in this thread that the Arab League was setting it up to go in and storm the region and this is a big step in that direction. By drawing all the extremist fighters into Syria and Lebanon, with the help of their American friends, the Arab League is weakening the extremists in other regions, like Nigeria where the govt there has stepped the battle against extreme Islam. Once the battle is really raging in Lebanon and Syria, the real war will most likely begin. So how is this a turning point in human history? The Saudi's are reforming their views towards woman, places like Qatar and the UAE are trying to be tourists hot spots, and of course China has become completely involved with the politics of the region. The entire world has been shaken by the Abrahamic religion that started out in ONE single place. Our present is the direct results of a timeline that dates back approx 2000 yrs that ONE very intelligent set in motion. Since almost the entire world just wants make money in a system similar to the one that the USA started, I feel confident in saying that this is how the west won; "Love not War Makes More!!!" Thanks JC.

Oh man, these aren't the same old riots in China though. This isn't about democracy and freedom this is about religion, or should I say about how China is cracking down on Islam. They fear these riots could spread and ignite those old riots about freedom and democracy, that's why their top priority is becoming stability in the Mid East. In regards to the US training forces to go after extremists, that's precisely what I have been talking about throughout this thread, the "war after the civil wars". The question is who contains the "war after the wars"? As you can see, I clearly think that that China is being forced into this role regardless of if they want to or not. Here's a good example, Amir Taheri has been writing since the 70's and has won multiple awards. He's just starting to understand that China has no choice but to become the power broker in the Mid East..... Sounds like they are already their Amir... Make no mistake about it, there is going to be some kind of catalyst for change in the Mid East sooner than later and we get to see who is right. Do we get to live in a secular free society under JC where God is the ultimate judge for all at their own end of days, or do we have to live under Sharia Law for a few more hundred years before we are finally there? ALSO NOTE:
The Jews are NOT promoting brain washing children in military training camps, teaching them how to blow themselves up and cause maximum deaths of Jews and other non Muslims. The Jews don't hijack planes, nor kill athletes at the Olympics, or blow themselves up in German restaurants. There is NOT one single Jew who has destroyed a church. There is NOT a single Jew who protests by killing people.
The Jews don't traffic slaves, nor have leaders calling for Jihad and death to all the Infidels.
Perhaps the world's Muslims should consider investing more in standard education and less in blaming the Jews for all their problems.
Muslims must ask 'what can they do for humankind' before they demand that humankind respects them.
Regardless of your feelings about the crisis between Israel and the Palestinians and Arab neighbors, even if you believe there is more culpability on Israel 's part, the following two sentences really say it all:
'If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel'. Benjamin Netanyahu
General Eisenhower Warned Us It is a matter of history that when the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, General Dwight Eisenhower, found the victims of the death camps he ordered all possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead.
He did this because he said in words to this effect:
'Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened'
Recently, the UK debated whether to remove The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it 'offends' the Muslim population which claims it never occurred. It is not removed as yet. However, this is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it.
It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the, 6 million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians, and 1,900 Catholic priests who were 'murdered, raped, burned, starved, beaten, experimented on and humiliated' while the German people looked the other way.
Now, more than ever, with Iran , among others, claiming the Holocaust to be 'a myth,' it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets.
How many years will it be before the attack on the World Trade Center 'NEVER HAPPENED' because it offends some Muslim in the United States?

The Nobel Peace Prize 1998 John Hume David Trimble The Nobel Peace Prize 1998 was awarded jointly to John Hume and David Trimble "for their efforts to find a peaceful solution to the conflict in Northern Ireland" The Nobel Peace Prize for 1999 The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 1999 to Médecins Sans Frontières in recognition of the organization's pioneering humanitarian work on several continents. Since its foundation in the early 1970s, Médecins Sans Frontières has adhered to the fundamental principle that all disaster victims, whether the disaster is natural or human in origin, have a right to professional assistance, given as quickly and efficiently as possible. National boundaries and political circumstances or sympathies must have no influence on who is to receive humanitarian help. By maintaining a high degree of independence, the organization has succeeded in living up to these ideals. The Nobel Peace Prize 2000 The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 2000 to Kim Dae-jung for his work for democracy and human rights in South Korea and in East Asia in general, and for peace and reconciliation with North Korea in particular. In the course of South Korea's decades of authoritarian rule, despite repeated threats on his life and long periods in exile, Kim Dae-jung gradually emerged as his country's leading spokesman for democracy. His election in 1997 as the republic's president marked South Korea's definitive entry among the world's democracies. As president, Kim Dae-jung has sought to consolidate democratic government and to promote internal reconciliation within South Korea. The Nobel Peace Prize for 2001 Kofi Annan The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 2001, in two equal portions, to the United Nations (U.N.) and to its Secretary-General, Kofi Annan, for their work for a better organized and more peaceful world. The Nobel Peace Prize for 2002 Jimmy Carter The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 2002 to Jimmy Carter, for his decades of untiring effort to find peaceful solutions to international conflicts, to advance democracy and human rights, and to promote economic and social development. The Nobel Peace Prize for 2003 Shirin Ebadi The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 2003 to Shirin Ebadi for her efforts for democracy and human rights. She has focused especially on the struggle for the rights of women and children. Ebadi is a conscious Moslem. She sees no conflict between Islam and fundamental human rights. The Nobel Peace Prize for 2004 The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 2004 to Wangari Maathai for her contribution to sustainable development, democracy and peace. Wangari Maathai will be the first woman from Africa to be honoured with the Nobel Peace Prize. She will also be the first African from the vast area between South Africa and Egypt to be awarded the prize. She represents an example and a source of inspiration for everyone in Africa fighting for sustainable development, democracy and peace.

The Nobel Peace Prize for 2005 The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided that the Nobel Peace Prize for 2005 is to be shared, in two equal parts, between the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and its Director General, Mohamed ElBaradei, for their efforts to prevent nuclear energy from being used for military purposes and to ensure that nuclear energy for peaceful purposes is used in the safest possible way. The Nobel Peace Prize for 2006 The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 2006, divided into two equal parts, to Muhammad Yunus and Grameen Bank for their efforts to create economic and social development from below. Lasting peace can not be achieved unless large population groups find ways in which to break out of poverty. Micro-credit is one such means. Development from below also serves to advance democracy and human rights. Micro-credit has proved to be an important liberating force in societies where women in particular have to struggle against repressive social and economic conditions. Economic growth and political democracy can not achieve their full potential unless the female half of humanity participates on an equal footing with the male. The Nobel Peace Prize for 2007 The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided that the Nobel Peace Prize for 2007 is to be shared, in two equal parts, between the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and Albert Arnold (Al) Gore Jr. for their efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change, and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such change. The Nobel Peace Prize for 2008 The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 2008 to Martti Ahtisaari for his important efforts, on several continents and over more than three decades, to resolve international conflicts. These efforts have contributed to a more peaceful world and to "fraternity between nations" in Alfred Nobel's spirit. The Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided that the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 is to be awarded to President Barack Obama for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples. The Committee has attached special importance to Obama's vision of and work for a world without nuclear weapons.

The Nobel Peace Prize for 2010 The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 2010 to Liu Xiaobo for his long and non-violent struggle for fundamental human rights in China. The Norwegian Nobel Committee has long believed that there is a close connection between human rights and peace. Such rights are a prerequisite for the "fraternity between nations" of which Alfred Nobel wrote in his will. Over the past decades, China has achieved economic advances to which history can hardly show any equal. The country now has the world's second largest economy; hundreds of millions of people have been lifted out of poverty. Scope for political participation has also broadened. The Nobel Peace Prize for 2011 The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided that the Nobel Peace Prize for 2011 is to be divided in three equal parts between Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee and Tawakkul Karman for their non-violent struggle for the safety of women and for women’s rights to full participation in peace-building work. We cannot achieve democracy and lasting peace in the world unless women obtain the same opportunities as men to influence developments at all levels of society. In October 2000, the UN Security Council adopted Resolution 1325. The resolution for the first time made violence against women in armed conflict an international security issue. It underlined the need for women to become participants on an equal footing with men in peace processes and in peace work in general. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf is Africa’s first democratically elected female president. Since her inauguration in 2006, she has contributed to securing peace in Liberia, to promoting economic and social development, and to strengthening the position of women. Leymah Gbowee mobilized and organized women across ethnic and religious dividing lines to bring an end to the long war in Liberia, and to ensure women’s participation in elections. She has since worked to enhance the influence of women in West Africa during and after war. In the most trying circumstances, both before and during the “Arab spring”, Tawakkul Karman has played a leading part in the struggle for women’s rights and for democracy and peace in Yemen. It is the Norwegian Nobel Committee’s hope that the prize to Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee and Tawakkul Karman will help to bring an end to the suppression of women that still occurs in many countries, and to realise the great potential for democracy and peace that women can represent. Oslo, October 7, 2011 The Nobel Peace Prize for 2012 The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided that the Nobel Peace Prize for 2012 is to be awarded to the European Union (EU). The union and its forerunners have for over six decades contributed to the advancement of peace and reconciliation, democracy and human rights in Europe.

That is a TON of info b... Great stuff! Especially the part about the peace prizes.... Amazing to think this is right here in Canada eh? Talk about taking the good life for granted... Can't really expect much else though, especially when others that have the same mentality, but live in a different part of the world say things like, Egypt Coup Shows Democracy Corrupt. So while it's obvious that the Islamic people of the world don't seem to want any kind of peace with Isreal, or anyone that thinks Israel should exists, it's important to look at what China has to say about the matter; considering that MENA is dependent on them now. .... ‘China Interested in Israeli Culture’, China and Israel set to expand cooperation in sci-tech to boost their economies.
Expanding ties because of science and tech, imagine that. I guess all those Nobel prizes are important to some people. Must be why even in the face of BS propaganda, Five suspected militants killed in Israeli drone strike. I wonder what land the Israelis might want to swap? For a new City of Jerusalem perhaps? We have already seen some historic Mosques come down across the region, from Mali to Syria... Stay . Members of Congress seek to move US Embassy to Jerusalem Bipartisan bill highlights cost savings to US Government; Congressman 'committed to unity of Jerusalem as Israel's undivided capital for historical, biblical and moral reasons'
Good Sabbath.

More on the whole China thing.... Why do they remain cautious on the whole Arab/Islam thing? A few words off the street might shed some light of the truth of the matter(keep in mind the info Dot posted about noble prizes above).. I know, could be a bias opinion, however, actions speak louder than words.. There is a reason the Moscow Times is publishing articles like; Preparing for the U.S.-China Strategic Union. I wonder what that Arab countries, that support the terrorists that China is killing, would think if China adopted Christianity as a state religion? Maybe the Chinese will get a few of the contracts on the Third Temple build...

I have to say that I am gaining more respect for President Obama all the time. Waiting to attack Syria was by far the best move he could have made here. We have known for decades that all of Islam was out to destroy our way of life. We have known for decades that the Saudi's would stab us in the back at any chance they could get. If they want to fight, let them. At this point, I say we stay out of it and let the Arabs move in. This anti-us article tries to paint it out that only Saudi Arabia and Israel support attacks on Syria. In fact, over 50 Arab countries support the attack, and Israel has been ready to defend itself against Islamic terrorists since 1949. The Arab League can deplete their weapons stock pile taking on Syria and Iran, meanwhile they will draw Russia in. We can start to point out that Russia has been causing problems in the east since the end of WW2, while we started out trying to help "freedom fighters" in the 1980's. We can apologize for the mistakes we made in Iran in 1953 and then look to China and say.. "Now what are you going to do?" I would like to see the lying, racists, anti-us press try and figure out a way to spin that little situation, especially if Iran already has the bomb. The Middle East is destabilized, all these individual Islamic factions have their individual way of interpreting a religious book that they want their societies based on, and they could very well kill Islam off. There is clear evidence in the post above proving the Chinese already doing lots of business in the Mid East. They could go in, clean up, and their property bubble will only end up being a depression, not the end of the Chinese economy.
