I am grumpy today. My phone woke me up, before I was ready. Now I'm tired and I can't think straight. Oh, and my cable is out, which really annoys me. When I pay for a service, I expect it to work. Esp when I'm in a bad mood!
After jumping through their hoops, they are telling me to jump through them again. This doesn't help my mood. What a PIA.
I have now jumped through their hoops 3 times and my service still doesn't work. Am I happy? Hell no! They will work on it for 2 hours, then told me to call back, if it's still not working. I almost snatched the guys head off at that point! Why do I have to call them and go through their automated system again? Why can't he call me back? Oh. Yes. Now he will call me back.

The last time I asked someone to bring me back a sweatshirt from Disneyland, in the 80's, it cost $60. I expected it to be $25-30.
It will have to be something I REALLY like, to spend $150+ on it. I probably won't get one.
I don't need more clutter or junk.

I hope my day improves soon. I hate feeling this way.

I need to shower quick, then run to Target to pick up the 2 Frozen coloring books I bought, yesterday. I need some Coke and Dr Pepper too. I wish I would have added that to my order, so I don't have to run through the store to get them. Ugh.
Oh, well. 1st world problems.

DD1 invited me to go to a pumpkin patch with them. But they're going the day after we leave for California. Still, I appreciated the invite.

My cable TV is out, until their technician can come tomorrow. It went out last night. I am not happy, since a tech was just here on Sunday. It's so quiet!

Cable is working again. Needed a new box. I was told between 1-3. Showed up at 10:30. I just stepped out of the shower and wasn't dressed!

I've had a headache for 3 days, so didn't watch TV.
Found out plans have been changed for Disneyland. Now I don't want to go. But it's nonrefundable. I still don't want to go.

Grumpy is definitely me lately. I can't say that I like it.

When I agreed to go to Disneyland, I was told I would be sharing the room with my DD's family. I was fine with that. Now, I am sharing a room with my son in law's mother. Seperate from my grands. There are so many unknowns happening on this trip, that I'm not coping well with another one. I don't like surprises. I feel very much like a 5th wheel in this situation and since they're paying for it, I don't feel like I can say anything.
I hate being in this situation.
It's hard to feel grateful for something I don't want.

I think stress is causing my headache.

I'm supposed to be at DD's house today, but I'm still home, in bed.

OMG tmr I am so sorry you are being put in this position. Personally I would find a way out of it but that is just me. If you do go I hope it turns out okay for you.

I would get out of it, too.  I don't share rooms.  

When I went to Disney World with my sister, niece and her MIL, those two expected me to share with MIL.  I barely knew the woman and was not sharing a room with her, so the 3 of them got to share.

She and I did return to the room earlier than sister and niece most days but we weren't sharing a room.

Yeah, I barely know this woman too. Both of my daughters know her and like her, but I don't. And I'm not comfy in this situation. I don't know what is going to happen.
And I haven't talked to DD since she told me. She wanted me to apply for a Disney disability pass online today, but since I didn't go to their house, that didn't happen.
I'm certainly not happy about this change in events. But DD keeps talking about being so excited and saying, she hopes I am too. No. I am not. It's what they (her husband) wants, not what I want. She will back him up, come hell, or high water. I can't win.

I am glad to see my peeps had a rough week, sort of. Me too. Like, I had to mow the lawn to get my aggression out.  At least I have company.

I have a Baker's cyst on my knee. It has already ruptured, but the earliest day for it to be removed is next Thursday. No running until after that. I can swim and bike, though, so I do have those. I am using ice and a prescription anti-inflammatory for this week, to get it ready.

Sheesh, all these years with no knee issues.

And on top of that, it seems the full moon made everyone in my office extra stupid AND aggravating this week.

I had half a sub for dinner, saving the other half for lunch tomorrow. DH had a shepherd's pie. We got both at the grocery store. It was all I could do tonight.

Good Evening Kids!  We just finished up with a huge thunderstorm here.  Just a few large hailstones hit our front window, but fortunately the hail never really got going.  But, in a rainstorm we usually get a "swamp" that forms just outside of our fence line, but tonight the swamp grew so big that the bottom of our backyard is included.  I sincerely hope the water goes down by tomorrow morning.  So much for cutting the lawn.  Oh well...

So NancysSummerSip, first of all I want to say I'm so sorry to hear about your knee.  Can they do the procedure outpatient-style, or do you have to get general anesthesia?

The water is going down, and thankfully is no longer on our property.  Just the property behind ours.  I'm sure that neighbor is less than thrilled, but oh well...

I had an adventure yesterday with the kids.  DD and I got brave and took the kids to see the new Paw Patrol movie.  They had never been to a movie theater before.  They were well behaved and it went very well.

When it goes down from my yard, the water flows to the neighbors to the east of me.  The way the land is in this block, some of the water in my yard starts at the corner.  At least I'm mid block

Yes, it is out patient procedure. Hopefully all back to normal same day. It is feeling better today, thanks to ice and the prescription anti-inflammatory.

I do plan to bike tomorrow, rather than run. I did a lot of yard work earlier, along with laundry and bathroom cleaning, waiting out that angry bear. Boy was that bear busy today!

I marinated chicken breasts and will bake those, and serve with brown rice.

It rained earlier today and it looks like more is coming; I am really glad I mowed the lawn Thursday. It would look like the lawn of an abandoned house by now if I had not done it then!

countrygirl2 stop in anytime. 

The kids ended up coming over this afternoon.  DSIL finished shutting down the pool, so that chore is done.  DD mowed my backyard, now I will just need to do the front and the little bit of hand mowing.  DGS1 got out the children's gardening tools and raked up some leaves and put them in the child's wheelbarrow that I have.  I worked with him and we got some stuff cleaned up, every little bit helps.  DSIL also moved the outside gauges for the weather station so they are in a better spot for picking up the wind.

They just left to go to mass but will back afterwards and we will have some dinner and DSIL wants to watch some football.
