Yesterday saveinla wrote: Question - does anyone know the lowest prices for the Lumen deal at CVS? I know there were 4$ off Qs a while ago and it's B1 Get 75$ off on the second one. Combined with the 3$/10 face CRT, will it be a good deal? TIA |
The Lumene products are pricey--@ $30 for the moisturizer. Found one on clearance awhile back and w/the $5 q it came out to $3.50 something. My daughter loves the stuff. Scan your card at the red machine because I got a $5 off Lumene purchase there yesterday. It didn't restrict according to size so I got one of the little moisturizer pots in the trave/trial section. Those are $4.19! You could get two of those and pay $1.24 plus tax, or do as I did and get one. Depending on your cashier, you could get .81 overage. Since I had lots of stuff, I did get the overage. If that's all you are buying, they'll reduce the q so all you'll pay is tax. But is you want the full size, it would probably look like this (provided you get the CRT $5 q) Lumene #1 $30 Lumene #2 $7.50 Minus: 2/$5 man q's $3/$10 CRT (I thought that one was for hand/body lotion??) 1/$5 Lumene CRT =$19.50 + tax HTH Thanks murphath. I checked the price and decided it was not for me for now.

Likewise here (well, hopefully not TOO close to needing em for myself ) - there are usually some fairly high-value Huggies Qs in my Sunday paper, glad to send them anytime. That goes for the rest of you ladies, too.

Went to cvs this morning to do the Tide deal. They were wiped out of the .99 Glade, of course, and also all of the 4.99 Oral B THAT WERE MARKED, but, me, the hound that I am, found some several spaces over from the marked ones, that were Oral B power brushes, regular 7.99, went to scan them at the handy dandy red machine and sure enough, 4.99 BABY! So to the shelf clearers! LOL! I still need $2 to get the gift card, but am holding out hope of getting the free sprays. I paid $15.xx in EB's and 2.22 in cash and will get a $10 gift card. Not bad at all! Constanz: Do you have any $.50 Dawn MQ's left? I had to use mine as the Glade were all wiped out. I got my second giftcard and am all out of ECB's. I have $1.00 on DH's card and that's it. I guess I'll wait to see what they have coming up that is too good to pass. Misspt: Great job on the fuel points. Our gas stations just raised their prices $.29 a gallon but I still got my gas at $2.24 gal. using $1.05 fuel points. Pubbler: I plan on doing that deal and using the cat to buy cheese, bread and rotisserie chickens. Victoria's Secret: I got a $10.00 Q in the mail last week off anything $10.00 or over. Last night I picked up a nice box of sprays and lotions for $5.00 after Q. They had a nice selection. Dollar General: This Saturday is their $5.00/25.00 sale.

It's 3.11 everywhere else around here, and that's down from around 3.30. Wow! Is there anything good going on at DG for Saturday? I don't have any of the high value bengay coupons, so I haven't been using the $5/$25 that they have been giving on the CRT...

Gas is $3.69 a gallon here, so I'm keeling over hearing the prices you all have.

Dying to share this somewhere - I rarely post because I'm reading during slow times at work, but definitely lurk often and have benefited so much from the collective wisdom here. Anyway, I had a positive pregnancy test this morning. My daughter is 3 years old and has been asking for a little sister (although I'm hoping for brother) for months now. My husband and I are estatic but don't intend to tell until we're past the first trimester. I think I'm about 3 weeks in. Soon it will be time to hound diapers again Yay Azucena!! Congrats! We're expecting our 2nd any day now! DD is also 3 and she's very excited. Best of luck with your pregnancy. I was sick during my whole pregnancy with DD but with this one I was only sick for the first 20 weeks. Try Zantac - alot of that nausea is actually caused from too much acid.

Misspt: I'm doing the deals at Dollar General with the Bengay coupons. I hope to do 4 transactions at a couple of stores. I'd like to stock up on some lightbulbs, garbage bags and toilet paper but I haven't made up any scenarios yet.

Hound Alert - There's a chance I may have the Bengay coupon. Won't know until tonight.
Can someone tell me (1) what the deal is at DG and (2) is there somewhere I can print the $5/25 DG Q (because I'm a super big glutton for punishment dealing with that stupid store)?

Check your Advil pm packages from CVS BF deal. I just opened one and there's a coupon inside for $1/1 16 ct or larger.

Bluesclues: Go to DG website and you can print 2 of the 5/25.00 coupons. They sell the Bengay for $4.75 and our coupon is for $5.00. I try to get my total up to $25.00 with items that I have coupons for so that my $5/25 will be for something I really could use, like garbage bags, baking goods, laundry soap etc... If I use 4 of the Bengay coupons, I should be able to get something for $6.00 free. The last time I got a couple of boxes of crackers and some flour. I've also been able to get free garbage bags. Hope this helps. Our store is super busy the morning they do these deals so a lot of people are using their coupons in combination with the 5/25.00 store coupon.

So, I went to RA today to purchase a set of the Conair Rollers that Hip2Save posted a deal for yesterday. The deal is buy the Extreme Instant Heat Rollers for 31.99 (after 20% discount), use a $5 IP coupon, get back a $10 UP reward and get a $5 rebate for a 11.99 + tax set of rollers. I did this deal, then realized via my receipt that I am $8 from this weeks spend $50 get a $10 UP reward on their Season of Savings promotion. The St. Jo Aspirin, the nestle crunch holiday candy with $2 UP and $1.25/2 IPQ, and a kit kat I bought all counted toward this promo. Now I am trying to see if I can find anything else worth spending $8 on to get the $10 UP??? Here's the entire list for the promo(sorry, it copy/pasted ugly):

One idea is the duracell batteries, they are on "sale" for 5.74 per 8 pack of AA or AAA (lol, sale), buy 1 get $1 UP reward, limit 1. Buy 2, get the $1 UP reward and submit for $2.50 SCR and I have a $3/2 8 packs coupon to use, so...
$5.74 $5.74 -3.00 -1.00 -2.50 $4.98 +tax and earn my other $10 UP, so essentially I am getting 4 four packs for $1.25 each, which $1 has been my rock bottom price for name brand batteries since rayovac stopped giving them away for free from Target dollar spot. Anybody see any holes?

The theraflu with the $2 IPQ with $2 UP would also work (limit of 2), but I actually need batteries, and since I could fill a swimming pool with theraflu these days....

The RA women's sanitary products are also BOGO 50% with $3 UP per 2 purchased, with limit of 4....
The 2/$1.98 with $1 UP reward RA pantry chocolate covered raisins or nuts limit 2 also count...
The cottonelle and kleenex 2/$5 with $1 UP also counts, with limit of 2...
Jif and smuckers are 2/$5 with .35/1 or $1/2 MCs floating around....

Do you have any of the revlon beauty tool Qs, misspt? I think the emery boards run about 1.25, so with the coupon they'd be .25/ each. If you bought 8 (and had enough Qs), you'd pay $2, get back your UPs and a $3 SCR. Or you can buy $5 worth for a $1.50 SCR.

MissPT - Since you're at Gold, buy Prevacid & Maalox: Prevacid (14 ct) - $11.99 with discount = $9.59 Maalox - $4.59 with discount = $3.67 Less: Prevacid $4 VV Prevacid $4 MQ here: bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?bt=vg&tqnm=yiuochq8462558&o=92277&c=NV&p=zAnPfR5NMaalox $1.50/1 MQ from coupons.com or swagbucks.com OOP = $3.76 Receive $5 UP for buying Prevacid & Maalox AND receive your $10 UP for SOS. P.S. For those at silver, it's still a good deal - would be $5.42 OOP with a $5 UP so would only cost 42 cents and earns $10.79 toward SOS. NOTE: Only Prevacid counts towards SOS, not Maalox.
