I tried to pick up another 100 shares at the open priced at $480.50 but the dip only went to $488.55. Oh well, I'd rather see the price up but I'll buy on the dip.
I agree with wxyz in that you ain't seen nothing yet with respect to AAPL share price. I'm looking for roughly $1,000 per share by year end.
This is still a deep value stock with a PE of 14.05 and a PEG of 0.75. If you compare these two data points to other growth stocks like GOOG, AMZN, CMG, etc., you will see just how much of a value stock AAPL currently is.

I agree, but I think we pull back before be plow through 500. Could be. I've been gathering cash lately for a general market pullback. Can we hold off on the pull back until after next week? I want my options in the green. ;D

Congrats Rovo, half way there. A lot can happen between now and the year end. The $1,000 is just a best guess based upon fundamentals of the company. My options in AAPL are showing a % profit of 1751% and 2511%. Go baby go. ;D These will be sold some time this week as they expire on Saturday. Too bad I only put small dollars into them.

Rovo I stopped selling Apple yesterday morning. $$$$$ I'm not the one pushing the price down now! ;D Could be a sharp correction.

Rovo I stopped selling Apple yesterday morning. $$$$$ I'm not the one pushing the price down now! ;D Could be a sharp correction. I don't see a sharp correction occurring in AAPL. I see some big selling yesterday and then automated trading driving the price down quickly. Also, with options expiring this week we are seeing a lot of people trying to move the stock down to reduce option losses. The shares of AAPL are still a deep value stock by all the metrics I follow. Price could be derailed by a bad quarter but it is too early to make any assumptions about calendar Q1.

Interesting article on Apple from Jim Jubak. How high can Apple go? Believe it or not, the stock is cheap now. Given its massive sales growth potential, Apple could easily hit $650 a share. Right now, it has 2 big things going for it.Remainder of the article at: money.msn.com/investing/how-high-can-apple-go-jubak.aspx
