I ignored her request and just..basically rambled. I can't believe the fucked up service I'm getting! this shi....this is so stupid that no one can help me! no one seems to know what the hell is going on and I keep getting passed over and around! I didn't take the rental and I was falsely charged.

then I explained to whole renting through my company intranet. then she was able to find my conformation number. then she saw I didn't sign out the vehicle and I didn't sign it back in. and then she gave me the name and direct number of the person I need to speak to in the morning.

so in the morning around 9AM - cause I didn't want to call and get the recording we open at ....
so I felt starting at 9AM was best. and I got some guys voice mail!!

called back tot he main number ...chick said yes she is in I'll transfer o her extension. she doesn't answer and it goes to some other guys voice mail!! CALL BACK MAIN NUMBER AGAIN!!
oh sir I'm so sorry for this confusion. She must not have set her voice mail. I'll make sure she answers before I transfer..

So Finally the next morning a called the number I was given. with only a little anger left. However I was guessing this situation would bring my anger up again if I STILL couldn't get any answers!

also somewhere in my rant to both reps - I told them why I was more concerned about being charged when I didn't pick up keys! But this fourth chick I'm speaking with I calmed down and anger in my voice was ALMOST not there.

I asked her missed asking her the most important question of all: why was I charged in the first place? how could that have happened when I didn't pick up the keys? that would have been confrontational, putting her on the spot! guess that's why I didn't think to ask cause I'm a nice guy!  |

so she continues her song and dance! vague answers. she simply said OH I received a call from 'someone' at National the reservation was canceled. Bullshit lady! I then asked her some other questions about reservations.

Because when I did have a on-site rep from National Car Rental. I would walk over to the office and tell her I want that convertible Volvo I see outside in the lot. and take it for a few days.

But now National Car Rental is no more. Enterprise Car Rental bought them out! National has better vehicles! I was rental some pretty great stuff from them. Simply just because I saw something in the lot and wanted to test drive.

Would like to see your postings on your own thread thread 'cuz in the future I'll remember you but to search it on an IHOP thread may be problematic in the future true DebMD - I've thought of starting a subject "thoughts of today" on EE so I can post my thoughts. and hopefully others would join? plus posting on EE would be best then... I wouldn't be talk'n 2 myself like a diary? BUT I'm here to get my post count up. it's a nice little hide out IHOP somehow started. plus the times that I'm on are so got dam random I don't get those back and forth posts between one or more people....I usually miss those when they do post. that would help my post count a lot!!  I want to be like you guys in the thousand plus....the 1,500+ posts crew!!  if I did start a "Penny for your thoughts" subject, I most definitely wouldn't post like this on EE. I would mostly post these LONG wordy posts cause I have a lot to talk about that a phone conversation would be no time at all but typing it all out? I miss talking to my x-best friend sooo much!!  |

But I can only wonder what if I wasn't a I-Rate customer? what if I just thought 'wow I was charged for a car rental I didn't take the keys' I guess that's the new penalty for not canceling ahead of time before the rental agreement started.

Would the rental agency NOT looked for me to give me a credit? or what if I didn't cus and yell and MANY people and was myself? would the first agent say well sir its policy and it's out of my hands to give you a credit...maybe also I would not have gotten to the actual office I needed to speak to?
