also hiding the filing material it will be out of my sight so I'll be out of my mind but if I can see it on a daily basis like now I'll get to work on it but it's so much filing to be done I will not complete it by the time the next safety walk-through will come around.

today Management is again requesting more changes to be completed by this Friday! F that! I ain't worried bout shit! nothing happened last Friday with their deadline so nothing will happen again - when I DON'T meet the deadline!

so....National Car Rental has moved its office of campus at work. Now we HAVE to schedule a rental though the intranet.

this is a bad (bad for me) move. no more 'special' attention from the rep that was on campus. she would give me discount on all my rentals. She even voided one rental for me once.

I needed an SUV to make a quick run to NY to pick up a part for my car, bring part to the body shop and go back to work. Which took all of just under 3 hours. When I gave her back the keys. The next day she calls me and ASKS that she will void the rental completely. I was like yea sure! I guess I could have said no I want to pay for the rental so I can collect points? LOL - yea right!!!

so now that we have to reserve a rental ourselves. No more same day service. No more 'special' treatment or discount price. No more in person face to face time.

we were heading towards an ice storm and I reserved a SUV. BUT I reserved it for the wrong night. I reserved it to pick up on a Wednesday instead of reserve it to pick up on Tuesday.

well to make a long story short....no I have to make a long story longer..LOL I tried to cancel the reservation. which has to be done on-line. But when I tried to cancel I was blocked out!!!

then I tried calling the 800 number and they were no help! I was transferred to the closed office on campus voice mail.

but I still wasn't worried or concerned because I didn't pick up the keys and didn't take the rental. However I also wasn't sure what is policy with cancellation notice? Because the rep would just 'take care of it' for me at no charge.

OH! so the way it works now is I reserve through on-line. the rental place will drop off a rental on campus (at some point) before the time of pick up. They used to have at least 12 to 18 rental sitting on campus. Give the keys to Security. I go to Security office get keys and bring keys back to Security . I now have to fill out the paperwork of gas meter and return mileage.

so that morning I reserved I didn't see any vehicles in the lot for me to pick up. But I called Security anyway, about an hour before my pick up time was. Security said they have the keys!

That's when I tried to cancel on-line. The Ice storm had already passed. Then I saw what they wanted to give me and didn't like it anyway. So I just didn't pick up the keys. got in my car and drove home. Called the 800 number and tried to cancel. Got transferred to the voice mail.

come to find out I got a bill sent to me I was charged $140!!! I was charges for 1 hour!!! I was charged for distance!! (I forgot how many miles was put on the SUV)

My first thought was they brought the car up from Newark Airport and charged me the trip out and trip back to the airport. They charged me for transporting the SUV.

I started calling the 800 number basically yelling - don't charge my credit card!! I got the bill or saw the bill in the afternoon. But was too busy at work to call and had to wait til I got home.

so the 800 number rep was on my side and he agreed I shouldn't have been charged. He said he will check to see who signed the vehicle out and returned. THAT's when I thought someone in Security at work took the SUV out for a spin!!! Then got really worried!!

but at the same time I was yelling in the beginning of the call! or maybe not yelling so much but having serious STRESS in my voice. Saying "THIS SHIT AIN'T....This ain't right to be charged......" I did this a few times on purpose to correct myself to let this guy know I'm upset, and I know it's not his fault...but I'm upset.

then he calls Newark Airport and they put him on hold for 45 minutes. then he comes back and said this is what they did to him as he's trying to get me a credit to my card. I said "SEE THIS IS THE SHIT....THIS IS WHAT I'M TALK'N BOUT..."

he gives me his name and extension and agreed this was a mistake, but doesn't want to hold me up any longer. and he gives me a direct line to Newark Airport. He was thinking maybe a flight just came in and they were busy?
