This isn't the lovey dovey, inspirational thread...it's to discuss beliefs other than "Our God is the ONLY God and that's that & if you don't like it then we'll insult you until you leave forever".

It's just staggering to see that it's their way or else & they don't even understand or simply aren't willing to understand that they are creating the anger.

Is God everywhere or is it outside the universe ?

Do people really believe God can hear them or is praying just a form of inner believing ?

I remember being in a church when I was about 11 thinking to myself " this is crazy ", I refused to talk to some invisible being, it just did not make any sense.

Not sure what is going on, or what the beef is.. I was under the understanding that as long as a poster did not "hit below the belt" or bash another poster that he/she could post on any thread, after all they are open to everyone, right?

This is a Thread about "does God exist" not "God doesn't exist" and we will bash anyone who does beleive in God...

IMO, if you don't like what a poster says, there is the ignore button or you could just scroll by.

Saying a "goodmorning" or "hello" on this thread isn't a big dea, and getting off topic is done on all threads.

Not sure what the big deal is though. I guess there will always be negativity on boards.. but I chose to just scroll by or in some cases, but them on ignore.

Afternoon, Tosh.. I believe God hears all our prayers, some are not answered because it may not be the right way to go.. hindsight!

I believe God is everywhere and not in just a place.

Faith is believing in something without actually seeing it, in this case God, without Faith, it is impossible to please him.

actually, if you take off the ONLY MY God blinders, you could see that the majority of the bashing was aimed at those that didn't agree that your God is the ONLY God. And we tried to point out that what you were so offended by, was exactly what you were doing to anyone who didn't believe as you did. There was no respect for any view that wasn't "God is great & is the ONLY God".

If you want respect for your beliefs, then try giving back that same respect to those that don't believe exactly as you do. You might be shocked to see a real discussion come about because of that.

Steff, In my Faith, God is the only God, but that does not mean nor have I ever disrespected anyone's belief system.

Several pages back I stated that everyone has a choice to believe in God the creator or not. there are many views and many beliefs.. To each his own.. and I always have stuck to that.

The problem I'm running into here is that I'm starting to see the wolfpack mentality forming. I began to notice it as I was exchanging barbs with Snerdley over in the "Everything Else" section. Slowly, but ever so surely, the dreaded peanut gallery began to toss comments my way, and of course Snerdley was considered blameless. Never mind how she started attacking me at 8am this morning and has been at it most of the day.

I can tell already that I'm not going to get a fair shake here. People will be able to say what they want to me (within moderation limits) but if I fight back, the dogpile will happen and it will, of course, be all my fault. I went through that nonsense on MSN and I have no desire to repeat it. It's just far too easy to blame it on the obscure person than one of the regulars. When all else fails, blame it on the "outsider." People have been doing that for centuries.

Me, just speaking for myself...without God I would be nothing. I am not trying to cram Him or religion down anyone's throats as mentioned earlier, but I believe we have a right to say what makes us believe. It is a spiritual relationship with Him, and either you do it or you don't. Either way, nobody has the right to judge.

well, being taught in Sunday school, Heaven was above, and hell of course below and a burning pit of fire. Where it actually is, I have no clue.. (meaning on a map! LOL)
