I mean that if there continues to be fighting between Rick and Tosh, any thread they carry it to will also be shut down until I can have Virgil FORCE them to ignore each other. I'd prefer they act like adults, however. Moon that's hardly fair. Rick is the one that gets nasty and name calls. He's the only one that has been mean to me personally so I have to wonder why he comes to this thread, obvioiusly he is sabotaging it and you are punishing everyone for Ricks actions. Femme, this is a thread about the existence of God. I'm going to assume you understood what that meant. It was not a thread where we all read Bible verses together and post pretty pictures. It was a debate about God.
You couldn't handle it and became defensive. Your definition of nastiness is having an open honest DEBATE about the existence of God and the truth of religion. Yes, I dogged you a bit, but that's because I thought you were in this thread to debate about God. That's what this thread is here for, and that's what everyone was doing. I did not say anything nasty to you. I disagreed with you. That is all.
If you didn't like having your religion questioned, then you shouldn't have put yourself on the firing range. That is not my fault nor will I apologize for using this thread for its intended purpose. I have not once touched your "God Loving People" thread. You wanted people like me to stay out of it, and I respected that. Yet you kept blundering into this thread because you wanted to talk to Tosh - and everyone else had to stop what they were doing because, my oh my, Femme's here now, so we all have to talk banality and whimsy. And if you don't, onto the ignore list you go for being "nasty."
And none of this explains why you're still bestest buddies with Tosh when he was nipping at your heals about Christianity FAR more than I was. You have been patently unfair, biased, and judgmental throughout this entire thread, and I just don't buy the whole "peace and love, can't we all get along" act anymore.
But not to worry ... you can have all the fluffy good times you want without me interfering. I don't think I can handle posting here any longer. I have other boards where I'm treated far more equitably and not have to worry about not being in the right clique.

Any one with a functioning brain cell can see right from the start Rick has tried to disrupt this thread and get it shut down, it was so obvious that a number of posters PM'd me to warn me of his tactics.
The Moderators are doing his job for him, it is illogical.

Femme, Before I say anything else, let me explain one thing. I am fully aware that I have a writing style that does not lend itself to idle conversation. My style is very formal, especially on a message board. For me to write any other way actually takes far more effort, so I stick with what I know. For those unused to my style, they can easily take offense or regard me as cold, unemotional, or humorless. Believe me, I've been down this road before. I never intended to be nasty, rude, abrasive, or offensive, and in my own mind, I don't believe I was. I get the feeling you may be mistaking the style of my writing for intended nastiness, and that certainly wasn't the case. As for the rest of it, I am more than willing to let it all go. There. I just did. It's all gone. Forgive and forget. I really don't like to fight with people and I'm not at all hard to get along with ... once you get used to my writing style that is. My humor is a little - off - as well. It isn't for everyone, and most would call it "quirky." It's not unusual for people not to recognize my humor, but I'm not a soulless stick-in-the-mud. Understandably, my style of writing may make it seem otherwise. But as far as I'm concerned, it's all over, hand shakes all around, and we can move forward. I still may not post much because there are other issues here as well, but it won't have anything to do with you. Best wishes, Femme.  |
