Bellichek just knows how to get the team ready for the big game. That Patriot defense had to be perfect last night, and it was. Patriots have not really been known for their defense last couple of years compared to other top NFL defenses, but they came ready to the play in the playoffs this year.
When Chung went down in the second half, I thought oh man, here come the Rams. If the Rams even bothered focusing on his replacement the next couple of plays, I could not tell you they did, but defense did not suffer a bit.
Defense did not miss a beat.
